We are seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate a variety of heavy machinery, such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders, to assist in the construction, maintenance, and excavation of projects. This position requires strong attention to safety protocols, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, solid understanding of construction site procedures, and working out of Moorhead for multiple days at a time that will require staying in a hotel. Responsibilities: Safely operate and maintain heavy equipment Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe work environment. Excavate 20ft deep trenches safely. Maintain grade and depth in trenches. Operate 1ton Truck with Gooseneck. (CDL Required) Operate Tactor/Low Boy Trailer (CDL Required) Conduct pre-operation inspections and maintain equipment in good working condition. Collaborate with team members to execute project plans and schedules. Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting materials. Report any malfunctions or issues with equipment to the supervisor. Ensure the job site is kept clean and organized. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license & Class A CDL (or the ability to obtain a CDL) 2 years of experience in heavy equipment operation. Ability to interpret blueprints and follow instructions. Ability to operate and use GPS systems and Laser's. Ability to lift 50lbs and perform manual labor type tasks. Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Ability to work in various weather conditions. Preferred Skills: Experience with excavators, skid steers, and loaders. Perform all other duties as assigned by management. Qualification & Requirements: Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and previous manufacturing experience required. Must be able to follow instructions and adhere to all the company's safety policy procedures and recommendation. Must be able to read, write, and speak in English and work in a team environment. Adaptability to a fast-paced manufacturing environment with demanding standards for quality and productivity. Position Responsibilities: Teach private and semi-private lessons using Bach to Rock curriculum and cover song arrangements Create an encouraging, fun, and focused lesson atmosphere Assess a student's readiness to join a band or ensemble Assist at school events (on and off-site) May repair equipment as needed and able Requirements: Must demonstrate an understanding of music concepts and be able to communicate those concepts effectively to students Must have an advanced understanding of music theory and technique relevant to primary instrument Effective time management and organizational skills to keep students on task in a lesson Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of personalities Experienced performer (either solo or group) Experience working with youth and/or beginning musicians Ability to interact effectively with children and adults Ability to pass a background check Details: Compensation begins at $18/hr We are looking for someone who can offer at least 3 days of availability during the week, between about 4pm - 8pm (but that's flexible) Our schools are open from 11am - 9pm, seven days a week (seasonal camps may start as early as 9:00am on select weekdays) Cannot teach at another music lessons facility within 5 miles of our location Bach to Rock offers the opportunity to work a flexible part time schedule in a fun environment with other like-minded musicians. We handle the marketing, scheduling, booking, billing and other business aspects of the lessons & group classes so that you can focus on teaching.
