Summary: The role provides discharge planning and coordination for a group of patients in support of the social work and case management departments. Works directly with patients, families, and referral/community resources to address the various needs or barriers surrounding patient discharge planning (financial, clinical, psychosocial, logistical issues, etc.) This position also aids with communications with external agencies to provide referral information for a smooth transition from the LTACH hospital to the post-hospital setting. Magnetic Resonance Technologists are specially trained to operate MR equipment. During an MRI scan, atoms in the patient's body are exposed to a strong magnetic field. A radiofrequency pulse is applied to the magnetic field, which knocks the atoms in the patient's body out of alignment. When the pulse turns off, the atoms return to their original position and give off signals that are measured by the machine and processed to produce detailed images. MR images can be reconstructed to create a 3-D representation of the anatomy of interest. MRI procedures play an important role in diagnosing diseases and injuries. Although a radiologist reviews MRI results, as a technologist you're responsible for obtaining the best images possible.

Respiratory Therapist (RT) Job Summary: Must possess the knowledge and skill to administer all forms of respiratory assistance and treatment responsibilities assigned to the Department of Respiratory Therapy. Shifts: Nights, Days, and Weekends available, with full-time, part-time and PRN available. Must be able to scrub and circulate a variety of surgical cases, maintain a sterile environment, and collaborate with surgeons and surgical techs. This is a 12-hour shift role with possible weekend, holiday, and on-call requirements. Floating within surgical services may be expected. Compliance and onboarding take an average of 4-6 weeks.
