Under direct supervision, this position will provide duties necessary to complete horticulture activities and projects for the Toledo Zoo. They will assist with proper care and maintenance of permanent landscapes, install and maintain plants in exhibits, apply pesticides and fertilizers, and oversee special projects using proper horticultural methods while considering conservation-related programs. In addition, this position will assist with installation and removal of holiday lights for Lights Before Christmas. This is a part-time position and requires up to 28 hours per week.
This position will work as a part of the Horticulture team and report to the Horticulture Manager. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Minimum Training and Qualifications
Must be prepared to actively work outdoors in all elements.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable by the fleet insurance carrier.
Must have the physical ability to work on your feet and be able to walk the Zoo grounds for several hours at a time.

Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks on the golf course, including mowing, raking, trimming, and aerating greens and fairways
Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of the course by picking up trash, removing debris, and maintaining flower beds and planters
Use various hand tools and small equipment to repair and maintain irrigation systems and drainage systems
Help with the set-up and preparation of the course for tournaments and events
Operate larger equipment, such as mowers and tractors, in a safe and efficient manner
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following all safety procedures and regulations
Report any issues or necessary repairs to the Golf Course Superintendent
Qualifications:
Must possess a valid driver's license
Prior experience in golf course maintenance preferred

Knowledge of proper turf care and golf course etiquette

Physical ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Summary
This position directs the daily activities of store team members in the absence of the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, and Night Manager during assigned shifts. The Crew Leader is responsible for store operations by opening and closing the store when scheduled, protecting store property and funds, and monitoring employee performance during assigned shifts.
Responsibilities
