Read blueprints and able to measure, cut, and assemble products based on prints
Ability to read calibrated measurement instruments (caliper, tape measure, ect.) and convert fractions to decimals
Measure and cut ropes/cords
Assemble ropes/cords into net structures
Assemble 3D nets prior to shipment to ensure accuracy in parts
Package parts to ship without damage
Ensure accuracy of inventory by proper inspecting and labeling techniques
Identify quality concerns and be able to repair quickly
Drive forklift to pull raw materials necessary for builds

Load/unload incoming or outgoing trucks from the receiving area.
Verify incoming product for quantity and inspect for any damage as required.
Perform system transactions to correctly record the receipt as required.

Qualifications
Two-year certificate from a college or technical school, or 3-6 years of related experience/training (or equivalent combination)
Minimum 3 years of playground layout experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3DsMAX, and Photoshop strongly preferred
Understanding of product development design processes preferred
Ability to sketch and communicate ideas effectively
Skilled in producing timely 3D representations of custom products
High level of artistic knowledge and design skill
Familiarity with landscape architecture processes and resources
CPSI certification or extensive knowledge of ASTM and CPSC standards (certification may be obtained after hire)
The target hourly range is $28-36/hr depending upon qualifications and experience. Expanded pay ranges may be available for growth and advancement opportunities. In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing technical support to production department: Developing metrics, reviewing resources, troubleshooting/problem solving production quality issues, initiating process improvements, training production employees, and providing corrective actions on customer issues.
Development of new products: Involvement with product development on project, provide direction on prototypes/pilot runs/1st articles, interaction with production employees on requirements, and review capital equipment.
Develop and maintain production documentation: Initiate and Update routings & ECO's, controlled documents, etc.
Team member on various lean improvement projects: Actively involved in Kaizen/Lean events, internal audits, action items, various engineering projects.
Plans and designs manufacturing processes for a production facility; Analyzes assembly, fabrication, machining, and other processes.
Works on some complex tasks/projects individually
Work may be directed by others (supervisor, production supervisors, product development, etc.)
Plan and implement preventive and corrective actions for reducing scrap, rework and down time
Contribute to creation and continuous improvement of manufacturing work instructions, process control plans and other documentation required for production release.
Support operations performance in meeting quality, safety, morale, cost, productivity and delivery objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS
B.S degree in engineering or related field 4-year degree from an accredited university and 5+ years of related experience and/or training.
Experience with lean manufacturing principals and tools.
The starting target salary range is $85,000 - $100,000, depending upon qualifications and experience. Expanded pay ranges may be available for growth and advancement opportunities. In addition to base salary, the compensation package also includes eligibility for a profit-sharing opportunity. Additionally, for eligible full-time employees, we offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits; vacation and paid holidays; 401(k) retirement plan and employee stock ownership plan.
