    ALMS are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaper to manage and maintain the grounds of our installation. Landscaping role includes lawn maintenance, vegetation removal and debris removal. The role requires maintaining aesthetically pleasing grounds across improved, semi-improved, and unimproved areas while adhering to safety and environmental regulations. Grounds Maintenance: o Perform mowing, trimming, edging, and general lawn care to maintain uniform grass height and a neat appearance. o Control undesired vegetation and remove debris to ensure a clean and tidy environment. o Maintain shrubs, hedges, and plant beds to promote plant health and prevent interference with pedestrian and vehicular traffic. o Provide tree maintenance, including pruning, staking, and removal of dead or damaged wood. 2. Irrigation System Maintenance: o Operate and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper water application for lawns and other vegetation. o Report any inoperable irrigation system components within 24 hours of discovery and repair as needed. 3. Safety and Environmental Compliance: o Ensure all equipment used is approved for use around ammunition bunkers and sensitive areas. o Avoid using gas-powered equipment in environmentally sensitive areas. o Obtain necessary certifications and follow safety protocols. 4. Quality Assurance: o Maintain improved, semi-improved, and unimproved grounds to ensure they meet the specified Common Output Level Standards (COLS). o Submit soil analysis test results and proposed fertilizer types for approval before application. o Replace or restore any lawns, plants, or property damaged during operations. 5. Reporting and Scheduling: o Identify and recommend non-recurring work as needed to comply with COL3 basic requirements and report to project manager. 6. Other Duities: o As assigned by manager REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Clearance Required: TS/SCI * Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or a related field. * Technical knowledge and skills in lawn care, irrigation systems. * Ability to operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment safely. * Excellent organizational and communication skills for reporting and scheduling tasks. * Must possess valid driver's license * Pursuant to Government Contract, you must be a U.S. citizen. Responsibilities A Day in the Life of a Porter/Groundskeeper: As a Liberty Military Housing Porter/Groundskeeper, you will perform routine cleaning and upkeep of grounds, buildings, amenities, and the surrounding areas in a multi-family residential community. Operates tools, machinery, and other equipment to complete tasks in an efficient manner. Your Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Performs routine cleaning and maintenance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors district office, pool, recreation areas, parking lots and other areas surrounding the community. Removes trash from grounds, office areas, homes, and the surrounding community perimeter on a daily basis. Details interior and exterior areas on a regular basis, using general cleaning tools and equipment (i.e. broom, mop, vacuum, rake or blower to keep entry areas, sidewalks, streets and walking areas clean of debris, dust, leaves and brush). May help with snow shovelling (where applicable) of sidewalks and other main entry areas. Assists in the preparation of make ready units including removal of trash from vacant homes (trash outs), touch up paint, and general cleaning prior to make-ready.
