Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17 / hour.

What you'll be doing as a Landscaper / Lawn Service:

* Use hand tools and powered equipment to mow

* Attend to lawns by mowing, mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing

* Trim and edge around flower beds, sidewalks, and walls

* Mix and spray fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides

* Upkeep sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, or other grounds features

Job requirements:

* Basic operating knowledge of landscaping tools

* Strong attention to detail and work ethic

* Ability to lift 40 pounds

* Ability to work outdoors in all temperatures

* Background Check and Drug Test required

Here's what you'd do:


You'd create beautiful environments by providing landscape maintenance support to a variety of industrial, commercial, and/or public properties.You'd safely operate commercial grade landscaping equipment and ensure the upkeep of plant material and other landscaping elements.


You'd be responsible for:

• Cutting turf, trimming and edging along borders, and blowing using power equipment
• Pruning shrubs and low trees to improve the growth habit or remove damagedbranches
• Planting and maintaining flowerbeds, and applying mulch
• Picking up trash and debris
• Performing weeding by hand or using a garden hoe or hulahoe
• Maintaining a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with guests andcustomers

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $15.00 to $17.50 /hour
• Full Time and Part Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift (Tuesday through Friday from 06:30am to 05:00pm)

• Interview with manager is required

Duties:

• Perform landscape maintenance duties:
  • mowing, trimming, hand pruning, fertilizer application, mulch application, planting,
• Perform construction duties
  • digging, planting, moving rock, seeding and scalping, irrigation installation
• Operate mechanical landscape equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Landscaper (I & II) Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs. -mulch, fertilizer, etc Must be comfortable working in various weather conditions
• Previous landscaping experience preferred
• Must have steel toed shoes/boots

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
