What does this role entail? The Groundskeeper meets standards regarding the appearance of the exterior physical features of the community by performing tasks to maintain the grounds, amenities, and overall curb appeal of the property. Completes minor repairs at the direction of the Service Manager.
Essential Roles You Will Play:
Inspects the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings. Ensures all common areas, office space, and amenities are neat and free of litter inside and outside at all times.

What does this role entail? The Groundskeeper meets standards regarding the appearance of the exterior physical features of the community by performing tasks to maintain the grounds, amenities, and overall curb appeal of the property. Completes minor repairs at the direction of the Service Manager.

Pay: Hourly rates are competitive (starting at $16/hour) + Quarterly Bonuses

Schedule:
20 hours per week
Ideal schedule is Tuesday 8-5, Thursday 8-5, Friday afternoon 12-4 or 1-5. We can be flexible if this needs to adjusted a bit but do need some hours worked at least Tuesday and Thursday mornings

Things Candidates Should Know Before Starting
You will get dirty: Tasks include picking up trash, cleaning pet waste stations, trashing out apartments, and other potentially unpleasant (but necessary) duties.
Repetition is part of the job: Many tasks (like picking up litter and pet waste) are daily, recurring responsibilities.
Opportunity for Growth: Team members with a great attitude and willingness to learn can grow into more advanced roles in maintenance.
This is a physically demanding role:. This position requires prolonged periods of standing and walking while performing tasks, frequently lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds or more, using hand tools and operating equipment (including backpack blowers, power washers), operating golf carts/trailers, frequently bending and stooping for planting, weeding and maintenance of outdoor spaces, and working in conditions with loud noise levels at times. This position also requires working outdoors year-round in potentially inclement weather conditions (i.e. heat, cold, rain, humidity). The person in this position must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
