We are looking for a Landscaper who would be responsible for performing various tasks to aid in the daily operations of the landscape work on the construction site
Project Location: 17635 N Porter Rd, Maricopa City, AZ 85138
NOTE: We will have other projects located in North Phoenix and Paradise Valley, once the Maricopa project is completed.
Responsibilities:
Install plants and irrigation systems from point of service, including backflow, valves, wires, pumps, fertilization systems etc. for multifamily site
Landscaping duties as needed
Coordinates projects and work activities with co-workers, other divisions, departments and contractors as applicable
Programs and adjusts irrigation controllers as needed throughout the year to maintain water wise sustainable practices
Performs a variety of skilled tasks during the install process
Daily interaction with project site superintendent
Oversight of installations per plans and specifications
Responsible for ensuring the daily maintenance of equipment
Communicate any safety incidences to project site superintendent
Performs other duties as required
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in commercial Landscape Construction
Read and interpret maps, blueprints, technical specifications & operational manuals
General knowledge of OSHA standards and requirements
Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
Establish and maintain positive, effective working relationships with those contacted in the performance of work

This position will work in and around Education facilities during regular school hours and is therefore required to pass an extensive background and fingerprint clearance.

* Knowledge of irrigation systems and controls (pumps, piping, heads, computer controls, timers, etc.).
* Knowledge of sports field markings and standards (AIA).

Minimum Qualifications
* Experience: Experience equivalent to two (2) years full time grounds keeping experience and at least one (1) year of athletic fields operations and maintenance.
* Equivalency - Any equivalent combination of training and experience that would enable the candidate to satisfactorily perform and meet the duties and responsibilities required may be considered in meeting the stated minimum qualifications.
* Underfill Eligibility: An enrolled Community Member whom closely qualifies for the minimum qualifications for a position may be considered for employment under SRPMIC Policy 2-19, Underfill.
Special Requirements
This position will work in and around Education facilities and therefore an extensive background investigation and fingerprints are required for hire. Periodic re-verification of background clearances will also be conducted.

Sets up and disassembles equipment for meetings.
