Manage building services including maintenance, groundskeeping, parking areas, and facility safety
Conduct regular building inspections and take proactive steps to ensure a safe, efficient, and presentable environment

Largo Golf Course is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a part-time Maintenance Worker. + Mulch the leaves and organic matter when mowing
+ Perform weeding by hand or using a garden hoe or hula hoe
+ Perform basic, preventative maintenance to extend the life of equipment
+ Properly remove trash, dead plants, and suckers from the landscape

+ Report unsafe conditions to the Crew Leader as appropriate
**Education and Experience:**

+ Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, stick edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower)
+ Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance operations/practices
**Physical Demands/Requirements:**
+ Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs. (mulch, fertilizer, etc.)
+ Ability to load/unload burlaps with plant cuttings onto trailer (up to 50 lbs.)
+ Ability to bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day

+ Ability to work in extreme conditions - temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit

Summary
Groundskeeper is responsible to maintain the overall general maintenance, preventative maintenance, and field operation duties of the District amenities especially relating too the facility grounds and housekeeping of the facilities.
Schedule: Weekends- Friday thru Monday
Essential Functions:
Responsible for day-to-day grounds and housekeeping maintenance operations, adhering to District budget, and assist in managing vendor contracts relating to the clubhouse and community assets, development of standard operation policies and procedures.
Provide the best possible customer service to the residents and guests to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
Work with assigned contractors to ensure quality service is provided to the community.
Inspect District common areas and report any problems to the General Manager.
Prepare any incident or accident reports and forward to the General Manager.
Display flexibility in handling after-hours emergency calls.
Swimming Pool Deck: Blow off pool deck, arrange furniture, empty, and clean all receptacles, and adjust umbrellas.
Picnic Areas and Parks: Empty waste receptacles and pick up debris.
Main Entrance: pick up debris.
Tennis, Basketball and Play Courts: Pick up any litter and empty waste receptacles.
Replace light bulbs.
Control cobwebs around the Clubhouse.
Check conditions of roads, sidewalks, and curbs. Report any issues to General Manager.
Parking Lot: Pick up litter, blow off debris.
Cleaning the outdoor furniture.
Touch up paint interior and exterior.
Check playground equipment, empty receptacles and pick up debris.
Perform minor repairs to the entrance/exit gates.
Check and assess street signs, monuments, and informational signs. Report any issues to General Manager.
Perform minor repairs to equipment and facilities as needed.
Process and manage work orders and update General Manager with project status and completion.
Direct purchasing, receiving, storage, issuing and control of maintenance products, supplies, and equipment.
Clean and sanitize Clubhouse and amenities, as needed.
Any other duties assigned by General Manager or Maintenance Manager.
Education:
➢Required - High School diploma or GED.
Experience:
➢Minimum of three (3) years of related experience required.
➢Maintenance experience in a condominium association or community setting a plus.
Job Skills:
➢Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
➢Ability to coordinate/manage multiple projects at the same time.
➢Must be comfortable climbing ladders and work at heights above ground level, in accordance with Company Policy.)

As a Groundskeeper, you'll be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the building/facility. Your Responsibilities: * Cuts grass, maintains lawn, trims around trees, walkways and markers. * Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in safe condition.
