Required Skills/Abilities The position requires employees to work from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with flexibility in hours during seasonal events or based on weather conditions and the Academy's needs. Employees must be available to assist with the setup and breakdown of tents, tables, and chairs for special events and graduation. A strong knowledge of landscaping best practices is essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively with managers and supervisors. Candidates must also pass a background check/drug test and participate in random drug testing. Education and Experience: Prior landscaping or grounds experience preferred and a military background is favorable but not required. Physical Requirements The physical demands of the role include the ability to climb up to three flights of stairs, push, pull, or lift up to 80 pounds, and perform tasks that require sitting, standing, twisting, kneeling, or squatting. Employees must be able to raise their arms overhead as needed and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
