Join our team as a Landscaper, where you will be partnered with a colleague to maintain the landscape of approximately 8-10 buildings at the GA Poway campus. **Responsibilities** + Maintain and repair grounds and outside fixtures using mechanical equipment and hand tools. + Mix and apply chemicals, adhering to special handling requirements. + Perform tasks such as cutting lawns, trimming, edging walkways, roads, flower beds, and walls. + Prune shrubs, trees, and plants, and rake leaves and litter. + Conduct periodic inspections of plants and grasses. + Recommend changes in care schedules and assist in determining timetables for fertilizer and pest control programs. + Assemble, install, modify, and maintain irrigation systems and plumbing under general direction. + Perform trade work such as carpentry or painting as needed. + Assist in planning and designing landscape modifications. + Operate equipment such as tractors, mowers, fertilizer spreaders, and more. + Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and obligations during business operations. + Adhere to safety protocols and practices at all times. + Perform additional duties as assigned or required. **Essential Skills** + Experience in landscaping or groundskeeping, ideally with commercial properties. + Complete knowledge and understanding of safe lifting procedures. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with construction, hand tools, and power tools. + Bi-lingual skills (English-Spanish) preferred. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a work schedule that offers a 9/80 arrangement with every other Friday off.
