Basic Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
General computer knowledge
Commercial Applicators license with 1A, 1B, and 1C endorsements or must be able to obtain when required
Class A CDL license or must be able to successfully complete the Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) when required
Ability to work long seasonal hours, climb heights, and stand for long periods of time
Detailed oriented to provide accurate and consistent work

The Cross-Divisional Truckdriver is responsible for the delivery of and transportation of products between FCS locations, farms and processors in a timely manner; The Cross-Divisional TruckDrivers will work across all divisions: Grain, Agronomy, and Feed to provide support to all departments. Essential Job Functions:
Communicates with supervisor regarding any operations, customer, vendor, or employee issues that may arise.
Follows all FCS standard operating procedures (SOP's) for all divisions.
Responsible for the delivery of bulk feed, fertilizer to farmers and fields, and grain to locations and facilities in a timely manner.
Weighs each order or load as applicable - check production variances as listed in SOP's.
Notifies supervisor of any delivery problems and coordinates maintenance with supervisor.
Complete daily and turn in truck records on feed removed from sites.
Utilizes GPS navigator on every load, if available - verify correct details / location before final delivery.
Cleans truck interior and exterior as needed; wash exterior only when time permits.
Operates equipment in a safe and prudent manner - drivers will adhere to the rules and laws established by local, state and federal agencies.
Completes daily safety reports and required records, pre and post trip.
Attends all scheduled FCS safety meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Class A CDL.
Understand DOT placarding and DOT hazardous rules.
Ability to operate and understand mobile equipment.
Possess mechanical skills to perform minor maintenance tasks on equipment and property.
Willingness to work extended hours during busy seasons.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Acceptable driving record.

Work Requirements:
This position is based in a fast-paced agricultural setting and is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and vibrations. The employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes and airborne particles. The noise level is usually moderate to loud. PPE will be provided and must be utilized according to safety standards. Typical working hours are based on customer and organizational demand; hours may be long, irregular and including weekends and holidays during peak season.
While performing job functions the employee will be required to talk and hear most of the time. The employee will spend frequent intervals moving and sitting, while also needing to reach, bend, twist, crawl, crouch, stoop or kneel. The employee will need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and maneuver on and off a mobile equipment. The physicality of this job is medium.
