Job Summary
Langan is seeking a Design Technologies Specialist to join its collaborative team in Parsippany, NJ. This individual will serve a key function in providing front-line, advanced level technical support for AutoCAD and Civil 3D and other engineering technologies. This role will also include assessing firm-wide CAD training needs, and designing, developing, and implementing CAD and site/civil custom training. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to assess firm-wide CAD training needs and design, develop, and implement CAD and site/civil custom training.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with Applied Technologies leadership on the oversight of Firm-wide CAD standards;
Provide front line, advanced level technical support for AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other engineering technologies, with a focus on customer service and responsiveness;
Document answers to common technical support questions and identify solutions to issues. Author white papers to promote proper application of design technologies;
Recommend new approaches and ideas that continuously improve efficiency and services performed;
Provide guidance to staff on engineering technology and associated Firm-wide advancements in design technologies; and
Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture;
FE/EIT certification required, PE license a plus;
5+ years of related site/civil land development experience;
Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D with the ability to troubleshoot software issues;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities; and
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Job Summary

This individual will serve a key function in managing environmental/engineering projects and proposals, conducting engineering research and analysis, and supervising field investigations and laboratory analysis. Job Responsibilities
Perform complex analyses for specific portions of broader engineering and environmental projects;
Supervise field activities and ensure correct interpretations of findings. Ensure that data collection and laboratory analyses are completed correctly, within budget, and on time;
Manage and deliver on multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines. Prepare progress reports and draft change orders. Prepare draft invoices, project billings, and assist in payment collections;
Effectively organize, write, and edit reports, draft proposals, and other documents;
Participate in the identification and pursuit of new clients, learn to develop additional work within an existing project and attend business development meetings with new and existing clients;
Provide direct oversight and management of junior staff for specific project assignments. Coach, train, and motivate staff assigned to Environmental projects. Participate in interviewing and hiring staff;
Coordinate other work groups within the same or different office locations and/or within the same or different disciplines on an as-needed basis;
Interface effectively and professionally with clients, contractors, subcontractors, staff, project personnel, supervisors, and others. Actively participate in internal and external technical presentations and produce written articles for internal and external publications; and
Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications

8+ years of work related experience;

The New York Metro Buildings + Places Team is a multi-disciplinary group consisting of professionals across multiple disciplines, including Architecture, MEP, Structural, Civil, Change Management, and Landscape design.
B+P is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to be based in the New York Metro area and can be based in New York City, Piscataway or Bloomfield, New Jersey.
As a people manager, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for mentoring and guiding the federal design team to success. In addition to helping lead design development and review, the Senior Project Manager will also be responsible for client communication, consultant coordination, and contract administration. Projects will focus on the federal sector.
The responsibilities of this position also include, but are not limited to:
Working with interdisciplinary technical leads in coordinated successful execution of projects in design and construction
Maintain, develop and coordinate all aspects of the A/E practice on federal project
Prepare creative, functional and innovative designs for clients

Langan is seeking a Project Environmental Scientist, Geologist, or Engineer to join its collaborative team New York City. This individual will serve a key function in managing environmental investigation and remediation projects, delivering technically excellent services, preparing technical proposals and reports, conducting environmental research and analyses, supervising field investigations, and managing staff. In this role, you will have the opportunity to further develop both project management and staff management skills, interact with clients, and work on exciting small and large-scale projects.
Job Responsibilities
* Manage environmental investigation and remediation projects;
* Perform complex analyses for specific portions of broader engineering and environmental projects;
* Supervise field activities and ensure correct interpretations of findings;
* Manage and deliver on multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines;
* Effectively organize, write and edit draft proposals, reports and other documents;
* Participate in the identification and pursuit of new clients, develop additional work within an existing projects and attend business development meetings with new and existing clients;
* Provide direct oversight and management of junior staff for specific project assignments. Coach, train, and motivate staff assigned to Environmental projects. Participate in interviewing and hiring staff;
* Coordinate other work groups across office locations and disciplines on an as-needed basis;
* Interface effectively and professionally with clients, contractors, subcontractors, staff, project personnel, supervisors, and others; and
* Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering; (Master's degree a plus);
* LEED AP or PE certification;
* 6+ years of related work experience;
* Proficient in environmental due diligence;
* Knowledge of quantitative/technical analyses and related software. Demonstrated ability to perform quantitative and technical analyses;
* Hazwoper training, maintenance of annual physical and respirator fit test, and annual 8-hr. Hazwoper re-certification;
* Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements;
* Excellent public speaking, written, and verbal communication skills;
* Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities;
* Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment;
* Ability to multi-task effectively, manage multiple projects and clients, develop and manage project budgets, and effectively manage and coach staff;
* Ability to work evenings and/or weekends as projects require; and
* Possess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid driver's license in good standing.

This individual will serve a key function in researching, documenting, and implementing emerging technology and tools. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience working with a dynamic team on Information Technology Projects for an engineering consulting firm.
Job Responsibilities
* Conduct research on emerging technologies and tools and document findings and recommendations for potential implementation;
* Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within the company;
* Assist in various capacities with the development and implementation of new tools;
* Manage relationships with hardware and software vendors to ensure effective vetting and selection of new technology for the firm;
* Create Proofs of Concept (POCs) using apps like Glide, Lovable, SharePoint, Power Automate, or similar tools based on user feedback and ideas;
