Develop work within existing projects and attend business development meetings. * Manage junior staff on CEQA-related tasks, providing oversight, coaching, and training to develop their understanding of CEQA processes. * Supervise and coordinate field activities, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and ensuring the proper collection and analysis of data within budget and on schedule. * Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that each project adheres to CEQA timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements. * Prepare and review progress reports, change orders, invoices, and project billings related to CEQA compliance work. * Collaborate with other environmental and engineering teams to ensure integrated and effective project delivery across multiple disciplines and office locations. * Interface professionally with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure effective communication and project execution. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CEQA regulations and best practices, ensuring all projects comply with the latest environmental standards. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. * 10+ years of experience in environmental investigations, remediation, and CEQA-related work. * In-depth knowledge of CEQA regulations and procedures, as well as related state and federal environmental laws. * Professional Geologist (PG), Certified Environmental Professional (CEP), or Professional Engineer (PE) designation required. * Proven experience managing CEQA compliance for complex projects, including preparation of EIRs, environmental assessments, and other CEQA documents. * Strong project management, client relations, and leadership skills with experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams. * Proficiency in quantitative/technical analysis, environmental software, and report preparation. * Excellent communication skills (public speaking, written, and verbal) to interact effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams. * Strong attention to detail, analytical capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. * Reliable transportation for client meetings and site visits, along with a valid driver's license in good standing.
