Your Capabilities and Credentials - Strong understanding of the Science and Technology and Mechanical Discipline within the US Northeast and beyond. - Demonstrated technical skills on major projects. - Exceptional leadership, verbale and written communication, organization, coordination, and team-building skills. - Requisite knowledge, interpretation, and application of the mechanical and/or plumbing codes, energy codes, ASHRAE standards, and other building codes. - Strong knowledge of mechanical systems means and methods, materials, concepts, and industry standards. - Participate and collaborate in a team setting and engage in creative and critical thought. - Demonstrate creativity, foresight, and mature engineering judgment in anticipating and solving problems. - Demonstrated ability to handle multiple ongoing projects. - Knowledge of and ability to use standard computer applications including, but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit. - Knowledge of and ability to use software for heating/cooling load calculations, either Trane Trace, Carrier HAP, IES, or equivalent. - Experience with responding to Requests for Proposals, Expression of Interests, Statement of Qualifications. - Highly motivated with the desire to work in fast-paced team-oriented environment. - Strong business development skills, including significant experience building and maintaining productive relationships with a client base. - An entrepreneurial orientation with strong understanding of the business development challenges of a consulting-services provider. Education and Experience 10+ years of related experience (Consulting preferred) relevant working experience in designing Mechanical and HVAC systems, with a minimum 5 years of project management experience. Education and Experience 10 years of related experience (Consulting preferred) relevant working experience in designing Mechanical and HVAC systems, with a minimum 5 years of project management experience. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution, or equivalent relevant experience. Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is a plus. PMP certification, is desirable.
