This position will support foreign language and human intelligence training initiatives. To be eligible for this position the selectees will need to be fluent orally and in written documentation in one of the following languages: Russian, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, or Farsi. Portray Human Intelligence and Confidential Informant source in a variety of role-playing scenarios.

Ensure that appropriate notifications (and updates) are made to leadership, Managers, internal and external stakeholders and escalate notification, response, and mitigation actions when needed.
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of Foreign Language experience.
Ability to realistically portray characters, situations, and actions.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to utilize Excel functions to increase efficiency.
Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and objective.
Flexible, able to immediately adapt to changing priorities.
Associates or Bachelor's degree, the experience can supplement.
Pass a background check and be eligible for a Secret Security Clearance.

Position Summary and Responsibilities:
Working from home in Minnesota, the English Learner Teacher will manage instructional programs for students in collaboration with the general education teachers. Through use of the telephone, Internet and various curriculum tools, they will consult regularly with learning coaches and students to ensure that each child successfully completes his/her instructional program. The EL Teacher will participate in all steps of the LEP process. They will work closely with other teachers and district professionals to ensure that the school's multilingual program is successful and operating in compliance with federal and state regulations. In addition, the EL teacher will be responsible for the successful completion of the following tasks:

* Attend local and state provided professional development trainings related to Title III compliance and instruction;
* Collaborate with the student's teachers in supporting learning and conduct parent conferences in a timely manner;

* Become proficient with supplemental programs to support English Learners in the virtual setting, including interpreting data within the programs;
* Review curriculum and devise alternate approaches to presenting lessons to increase student understanding (working directly with students and parents);
* Communicate with parents, students and other teachers on a regular basis to discuss assessments, provide feedback on student work, suggest instructional approaches and strategies, monitor completion of assignments and coach special projects;
* Work collaboratively with other teachers to ensure that all students are successfully progressing through the program, that parents have a central point of contact, and that tasks are distributed among the teachers;
* Develop a general knowledge of the curriculum and a very detailed knowledge of the courses for which responsible;
* Support students and parents with alternate strategies and provide additional assistance with daily assignments and projects;
* Communicates regularly with parents, students, and certified content area teachers through use of computer and telephone;
* Keep student records and data up-to-date, including EL Data Views, State Testing Data Views, other DVs as needed, cumulative files, online student and family information, attendance accounting, and logging all student and parent contacts;
* Consult with other teachers and staff learning specialists to develop alternate enrichment activities and supports to students' programs to increase student understanding;
* Devise and implement virtual methods of creating and maintaining a "school community";
* Work with teachers and School Counselor to ensure students and families are receiving appropriate communications, students are making adequate progress and established goals are being met;
* Participate in Connections Academy, Minnesota Transitions Charter Schools and school based professional development sessions and associated activities;

George Mason University's Bachelor of Applied Science Degree (BAS) is a unique program created specifically for students who have earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree and seek to complete their Bachelor's degree, with a specialized concentration. Designed with the adult-learner in mind, but open to students of all ages, the BAS degree offers a flexible learning experience for students.
About the Position:
This position will teach and develop BAS 300 to ensure strong student learning outcomes and professional relevance. BAS 300 is the foundation course of the BAS program, and it prepares students for their capstone experiences. The course design must ensure students are prepared for success in their senior-level coursework.
Topics currently covered in the course include: career planning and development, "soft skill" development (time management, communication, etc.), foundations of college-level research, etc. Sample syllabi can be viewed on the BAS website.
The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in higher education, by both instructors and students. The candidate should be prepared to incorporate AI knowledge within the course.
While all BAS courses are taught 100% online, asynchronous, the faculty member will be required to attend campus activities as needed. These include orientation, graduation, recruitment events, faculty retreats, etc.
Responsibilities:
* Teaches career development courses in the undergraduate program. The teaching load for this position is 4 courses per fall and spring semester;
* Assesses current curriculum annually, and redesigns courses as-needed to ensure curriculum remains relevant to today's career fields and expectations;
* Coordinates all sections of assigned courses to ensure continuity across the department. With the BAS Director, ensures adjunct faculty have the materials necessary to successfully teach courses; and
* Additional responsibilities include service to the BAS program, the university, and the profession, such as academic community engagement, student mentoring, committee membership, and interfacing with the George Mason community.
Required Qualifications:
* Master's degree in related field;
* 2 or more years of relevant teaching experience in higher education;
* Experience teaching fully online, asynchronous courses;
* Experience leading undergraduate career development courses;
* Experience working with contemporary students;
* Knowledge of best practices for leading undergraduate career development courses;
* Knowledge of the unique needs of contemporary students;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Ability and demonstrated commitment to teach and mentor undergraduate students from a variety of backgrounds;
* Ability to teach college-level courses;
* Ability to teach fully online, asynchronous courses; and
* Ability and commitment to collaboratively work with a fully remote, diverse group of faculty and staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience teaching students pursuing interdisciplinary degrees;
* Previous experience using Canvas LM;
* Previous experience using Banner; and
* Previous experience teaching Artificial Intelligence (AI) ethics.

Position Summary
The Immigration Specialist will manage and coordinate all employment-based immigration matters for the organization. This role serves as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, HR partners, and external immigration counsel, ensuring compliance with immigration regulations while delivering a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience supporting a range of U.S. (and potentially global) immigration processes and is comfortable operating independently within established policies.
Key Responsibilities
Immigration Case Management:
Manage end-to-end employment-based immigration cases, including but not limited to:
H-1B, L-1, TN, E-3, O-1
PERM labor certifications
Employment-based green card processes
Work authorization extensions and amendments
Act as the primary liaison between employees, HR, managers, and external immigration counsel under the guidance of internal counsel.
Coordinate document collection, case initiation, tracking, and follow-ups
Monitor case timelines, expirations, and milestones to ensure timely filings
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure full compliance with U.S. immigration laws and regulations, including:
I-9 and E-Verify requirements across multiple manufacturing sites
Public Access Files and Department of Labor requirements
Record retention and audit readiness
Support internal audits, government inquiries, and compliance reviews
Partner with Legal and HR Compliance teams to assess immigration risk and implement corrective actions
Monitor immigration policy changes and advise HR and leadership on potential workforce impact
Cross-Functional HR & Employee Support
Advise employees and managers on immigration processes, timelines, and requirements
Partner with Legal, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Mobility teams on hiring and workforce planning
Support onboarding and offboarding processes for sponsored employees
Contribute to immigration-related policies, FAQs, and internal communications
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on hiring strategies for hard-to-fill technical and engineering roles
Vendor & Program Management
Manage relationships with external immigration law firms and vendors
Review invoices for accuracy and alignment with case activity
Track immigration-related costs and provide reporting as needed
Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and employee experience
Process Improvement & Documentation
Develop and maintain immigration policies, procedures, and training materials for HR and plant leadership
Standardize processes across sites while allowing for operational flexibility
Support implementation and optimization of immigration case management systems
