* Customer order management (customer contact, timely order entry and processing, order confirmation, price maintenance, availability check of material), perform customer master data requests and maintenance within the LANXESS systems. Process customer inquiries regarding order status, shipment timing, etc.
* Assist Marketing and Sales with receivables and credit limit requests, Support sales (as requested) with maintenance of forecast.
* Identification of customer requirements and proactively suggest solutions, Responsible for receiving customer complaints and facilitating resolutions.
* Constant review of inventory and replenishment planning with Production Planner and track order status (internal / external), delivery time, and invoicing.
* Work in conjunction with third party logistics providers to troubleshoot any shipping problems as they occur. Work in conjunction with third party warehouse providers on any order fulfillment questions.
Experience / Skills
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain or equivalent business or industry experience will be considered.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
* Proficient working knowledge of SAP (or similar ERP) in a manufacturing environment.
* Functional knowledge of MS Excel and Power Point to provide support to the Regional Manager/sales team/customer is desirable.
* The position requires strong organizational, communication and time management skills. Excellent problem solving, persuasion, negotiation and conflict resolution skills are critical.
* Ability to quickly grasp general business and market information as well as related technical information regarding LANXESS products to serve as a department resource.
* International logistics operations experience and knowledge of export compliance regulations are a plus.
* This is a HYBRID role located in the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania office. The expectation is that the candidate will be able to be on site multiple days each week.

* Install, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, instrumentation and analytical equipment, following electrical code, manuals, procedures, schematic diagrams, P&IDs, blueprints, and other specifications.
* Inspect instrumentation periodically and perform calibrations to ensure accuracy. Locate defective components using test equipment such as pressure gauges, manometers, potentiometers, signal generators, pulse counters, oscilloscopes, HART communicators, ammeters, voltmeters, etc.
* Install power supply and signal wiring and cables, cable tray, and conduit for newly installed machines, electrical equipment, instrumentation, distributive control systems, signal interface cabinets, and telephone systems.
* Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical/electronic test equipment.
* Replace faulty electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines, electrical equipment, and instrumentation.
* Develop and maintain inventory of all repair and replacement spare parts and material for routine installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment and instrumentation.
* Acquire and retain electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting, repair, and installation skills and knowledge. Participate in on and off site vendor or technical training.
* Acquire basic knowledge of processes involved in the production units.
* Function effectively in a High Performance Work Team environment.
* Ability to interact in a productive manner in a team environment.
* Install, troubleshoot and maintain DCS and PLC logic systems.
* Develop and modify PLC code utilizing PC based configuration software.

REQUIREMENTS
* High School Diploma required.
* Minimum of five years instrument and electrical maintenance experience in an industrial environment highly preferred
* Satisfactory completion of an accredited formal training program in Process Instrumentation and Control and Electronics.
* Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality Systems training (ISO9000/14001), GMP, and Responsible Care Training.
* A licensed electrician credential through the state of Pennsylvania is preferred, but not required.
* Must have experience beyond residential or commercial work. Manufacturing or chemical plant I&E experience is required.
* Candidates must be willing to participate in a weekend call rotation and be available for urgent call ins in a union environment.

Receive and follow instructions and directions to install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, adjust, and perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, instrumentation, and analytical equipment. Employee is responsible for adhering to GMP and food safety procedures and controls within the boundaries of their job function at the Chester site.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, instrumentation and analytical equipment, following electrical code, manuals, procedures, schematic diagrams, P&IDs, blueprints, and other specifications.
Inspect instrumentation periodically and perform calibrations to ensure accuracy. Locate defective components using test equipment such as pressure gauges, manometers, potentiometers, signal generators, pulse counters, oscilloscopes, HART communicators, ammeters, voltmeters, etc.
Install power supply and signal wiring and cables, cable tray, and conduit for newly installed machines, electrical equipment, instrumentation, distributive control systems, signal interface cabinets, and telephone systems.
Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical/electronic test equipment.
Replace faulty electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines, electrical equipment, and instrumentation.
Develop and maintain inventory of all repair and replacement spare parts and material for routine installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment and instrumentation.
Acquire and retain electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting, repair, and installation skills and knowledge. Participate in on and off site vendor or technical training.
Acquire basic knowledge of processes involved in the production units.
Function effectively in a High Performance Work Team environment.
Ability to interact in a productive manner in a team environment.
Install, troubleshoot and maintain DCS and PLC logic systems.
Develop and modify PLC code utilizing PC based configuration software.
Analyze plant operations through the DCS system and make configuration and program changes to modify operations and interface new plant equipment, within MOC guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma required.
Minimum of five years instrument and electrical maintenance experience in an industrial environment highly preferred
Satisfactory completion of an accredited formal training program in Process Instrumentation and Control and Electronics.
Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality Systems training (ISO9000/14001), GMP, and Responsible Care Training.
A licensed electrician credential through the state of Pennsylvania is preferred, but not required.
Must have experience beyond residential or commercial work. Manufacturing or chemical plant I&E experience is required.
Candidates must be willing to participate in a weekend call rotation and be available for urgent call ins in a union environment.
