Bag Room Attendants are responsible for maintaining and servicing the bag room, and prepare, maintain the cart fleet and the golf range. The Bag Room Attendant is many times the first staff member to come in contact with a member when they arrive at the course. In order to be considered for this position, the individual must provide a high level of member and guest service at all times. Responsibilities include: Provide bag, golf car and range services to members and guests. Loads bags from bag storage room onto golf cars. Transports range balls to each end of range and fills appropriate containers. Places baskets of balls at evenly spaced intervals on range. Operates tractor and ball picker on range to retrieve balls. Removes bags from golf cars and returns bags to assigned rack in bag storage room. Returns golf cars to car shelter; Position Requirements Valid Driver's License Knowledgeable about the game of golf and its rules. Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify the pre-employment transition services available to students with disabilities in the workforce development area. Convene partners, including school districts and Education Service Centers, to discuss successful strategies and services, gaps, and opportunities for collaboration to improve the quality and/or availability of pre-employment transition services to students with disabilities. In consultation with the Board and the VR offices in the workforce development area, school districts, and other community partners, create a three-year action plan to achieve specific deliverables. The plan must be written within 5 months from hire. Increase community and system awareness of the resources and activities available to students with disabilities in the following five pre-employment transition services: Develop and sustain relationships with the school districts and Education Service Centers in the workforce development area to promote awareness and availability of pre-employment transition services and Workforce Solutions resources to schools, parents, and students. Promote the use of career exploration, postsecondary education planning, and work readiness tools available. In consultation with Workforce Solutions Offices, local VR offices, local education agencies, parents and students with disabilities, employers, and community partners, develop effective and innovative strategies to: Convene and/or attend workgroups, committees, coalitions, and cross-agency teams to foster system and community coordination of pre-employment transition services and activities for students with disabilities.
