* Community Corrections Department - an agency that works to reintegrate felony clients into the local community.
* Alternative Sentencing's Pretrial Unit -an agency that supervises and monitors people before they are sentenced.
* Alternative Sentencing's Work Release - a residential program that allows clients sentenced to County Jail time to serve ordered days while working or attending school.

What you'll be doing:
* Supervising clients directly and ensuring accountability.
* Conducting orientations to explain facility and program rules and procedures to new clients.
* Monitoring the safety and security of the facility, which includes but is not limited to conducting searches of clients, their belongings, and living areas; performing facility security and perimeter checks, and supervising visitation.
* Collecting urinalysis samples, completing related documentation, and submitting samples for drug testing; administering breathalyzer tests.
* Maintaining client accountability through formal counts, checking clients in and out of the facility, conducting on-site or phone location checks, and performing random activity monitoring.
* Investigating program violations, preparing incident reports, determining appropriate sanctions (up to revocation and transfer to a secure facility), and providing recommendations.
* Monitoring client medications.
* Performing administrative tasks, including documenting client behavior, maintaining client records, and processing billing and program-related documents.

What we're looking for:

One Agency, One Mission: Public Safety Join the Larimer County Sheriff's Office in fighting wildland fires! Wildland Firefighter (Temp, On-Call) is a temporary, part-time, on-call position under the direct supervision of our Emergency Services Unit. LCSO Wildland Firefighters are known throughout the United States for top-level training and dedication to safety on the fireline. Our on-call firefighters assist our Phantom Canyon Crew with wildland fire suppression, management, and control, as a firefighter on an engine or hand crew. Other wildland fire related duties may involve fire prevention through fuels mitigation projects, patrol, detection or prescribed burning.
Pay rate for this position is $22.0610 per hour.

What you'll be doing:
* Use, operate, and maintain basic wildfire equipment and vehicles plus a variety of hand tools, portable pumps, chain saws, and firing equipment for constructing fire line and suppressing the wildfire.
* May be a fire line supervisor depending on National Wildfire Coordination Group (NWCG) qualifications and experience.
* Ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn always and safety procedures are followed during all operations.
* Maintain inventory and required equipment on assigned apparatus.
* Take direction from assigned fire line supervisors and communicates fire status, safety, and equipment information as necessary or assigned.

This position is part of the Town's snow removal program. Will have scheduled on-call responsibilities through the winter months to remove snow using a 4-wheel drive pickup and/or heavy equipment. Snow removal shifts are typically 12 hours.
Minimum Qualifications:

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
A Family Educator, Early Head Start at Catholic Charities:
Plans and develops with parents an individualized program for their family, through establishing a caring professional relationship and a climate of mutual trust and respect through weekly home visits.
Works with families to strengthen their knowledge of child development; helps parents understand how children learn and grow; plans and conducts appropriate activities together with parents that meet their child's intellectual, physical, emotional and social needs.
Works with parents to strengthen the family's knowledge of health and nutrition, by integrating health and nutrition education into the program, coordinating with other staff and parents' health screenings for family members and providing information and referrals, if necessary.
Assists parents in strengthening their knowledge of community resources and supports parents in developing problem solving skills.
Provides developmental screenings and information to parents and families and provides referrals to other agencies when appropriate.
Plans and implements the appropriate number of socializations according to Head Start Performance Standards.
Maintains accurate and timely program data to meet reporting requirements. Enters data and generates reports.
Ensures accurate and complete records are maintained.
Completes necessary administrative duties (paperwork, etc.) timely and accurately.
Works with parents to develop weekly home visit activity plans based on each child's developmental assessment and the Family Partnership Agreement.
Manages and informs parents of scheduled field trips, extra-curricular activities and other scheduled activities.
Prepares and submits internal and external reports and documentation in accordance with federal, state and local regulations, guidelines and operating standards.
Provides crisis intervention including, but not limited to, child abuse reporting.
Provides guidance to parents volunteering in group activities.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in applying the practices and principles of child development and early childhood education; child health, safety, and nutrition; adult learning; and family dynamics.
Skilled in communicating with and motivating people, including people whose first language is not English
Must be knowledgeable of all Head Start Program Performance Standards
Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English and Spanish
Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines within established timeframes
Ability to use computer programs such as Excel and Word, as well as use of internet applications to enter data, generate reports, research resources, and create communications.
Ability to remain calm in an emergency and/or confrontational situation.
Ability to calm others under stressful or confrontational conditions.
Knowledge of the service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and the appropriate techniques and practices for the client population.
Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Agency staff and with a diverse client base.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 6 months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must be responsible and punctual.
May be required to set-up and break-down materials and equipment used for instruction.
Performs first aid as required, depending on training and certification.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Requires current ACE, AFAA, AAAI, NASM or equivalent group exercise and current CPR/AED certification. Must have or be willing to obtain Silver Sneakers Instructor Certification if needed.
At least six months' experience in teaching fitness classes to older adults is preferred.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of fitness, health and wellness principles and how to apply them in teaching fitness classes. Must be aware of physical modifications for individuals of all ages/abilities. Must be able to plan, develop and implement a class curriculum as established by certification.
Works in an indoor (and occasional outdoor) setting where incumbent may be subject to noise and distraction; requires extended periods of speaking in a loud voice for up to an hour at a time; requires public relations skills in handling concerns and complaints; entails working closely with others and working with little supervision; and requires excellent organizational/time management skills.
Must be personable; innovative and creative; flexible and versatile; team-oriented; adaptable to fast-paced, changing environments; have strong human relations and communication skills; and be customer service oriented. Administers first aid and CPR in the event of an accident.
