PURPOSE AND SCOPE: The professional registered nurse Outpatient RN CAP 1 is an entry level designation into the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP). This position is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of clinically competent care including assessment planning intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Provide supervision and direction for field staff and act as a liaison between field and office staff. 2. Monitor clinicians via HCHB reports 3. Obtains physician orders for field staff from physicians, laboratory results and resumption of care orders as needed. 10. Responsible for direct management of the POD's Clinical Field Staff, assigning tasks and objectives and establishing clear measurables for monitoring results versus objectives. 11. Responsible for the development and engagement of POD's Clinical Field Staff by fostering a motivating work environment that recognizes and reward strong performance. 12. Review and Approve Orders, Evaluation Documentation and frequency of visits. 13. Reviews potential LUPA cases with ACD 14. Participates in staff meeting and in-services. 15.
