DR. SHALINI KAPOOR, M.D., C.M. (also known as "Dr. Shalini, M.D.") is an award-winning published research scholar, medical doctor and surgeon, and expert laser specialist and cosmetic/aesthetic physician consultant who graduated from the McGill University School of Medicine, a world-renowned Ivy League Institution, with Honours ("Faculty/University Scholar" standing). She is a prominent and skilled, Triple Board Certified Eye and Multidisciplinary Laser Surgeon specializing in Laser Refractive Surgery (LASIK), Aesthetic Laser Surgery for total Facial and Body Rejuvenation as well as Facial Aesthetics and advanced injectable and shaping procedures including BOTOX and Fillers (such as Restylane, Juvederm and Radiesse). Dr. Shalini is also board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Laser Surgery, the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and of the American Academy and Board of Ophthalmology.

Active in research, Dr. Kapoor has published many scientific papers throughout the world, presented her findings nationally and internationally, and has won numerous awards for her work. Dr. Kapoor, as a member of the National Association of Medical Communicators (NAMC) has also had considerable experience as an expert lecturer, consultant and medical television show host, and has made numerous media and national television show appearances featuring her work in lasers. Dr. Shalini M.D. also won an International Award for "Merit and Distinction in Aesthetic Medicine" on an overseas trip to several countries in East Asia where she lectured and gave several advanced workshops to doctors on Laser Technology. She hopes to continue her international tour to further educate doctors and the public all over the world on this and other revolutionary laser technologies and on current cutting edge and state-of-the art techniques available for facial and body rejuvenation.

Specialties: Research will always continue to be one of Dr. Shalini's top priorities and passions, as well as continuing her vision for teaching and imparting her expert knowledge of the aesthetic laser field as a board and faculty member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, and as an official board examiner for the American Board of Laser Surgery.
