Process all fresh ingredients and dry ingredients in the most efficient way possible as to not affect the daily Master Production Schedule in an adverse manner. All Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures must be followed at all times. Safely and properly changeover and operate any equipment located in the immediate work area. Properly and thoroughly clean and sanitize the immediate work area. Fill in for each and every work position when needed. Perform operator level adjustments and preventative maintenance on equipment located in the immediate work area. Successful and accurate completion of all paperwork and touch screen entries. Ensure completion of any and all rework including directing and training temporary workers to complete tasks. Participate in the SGFM training program which includes training all employees in your immediate work area. Working knowledge of weights, measurements, measurement conversions and batching of kettles. Build a team environment within the immediate work area and throughout the SGFM organization. Follow safety regulations and procedures required by SGFM/Quality/SQF/GMP's/OSHA regulations/Preventative Controls. Operate a forklift and Pallet Jack as required to move pallets around and off the lines. (In house certification will be provided) Ability to work under pressure while multi-tasking. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Frequent lifting of material up to and including 80 pounds. Able to read and write English fluently Basic mathematic and reading. Regularly required to talk, hear and see Frequently required to stand, walk and bend. Manual dexterity with ability to reach with hands and arms. Climbing ladders and stairs often. Able to work in both hot/humid (in excess of 110 degrees F) and cold (below -20 degrees F) environments.
