What you'll do
In this critical role on AlixPartners' eDiscovery & Digital Forensics team, you will provide support to the eDiscovery leadership and consulting professionals including eDiscovery client billing, expenses, receivables & payables, and reporting. Responsibilities include:
Support the global eDiscovery team with client billing and tracking to facilitate revenue processing, including client outreach and A/R follow-up.
Liaise with accounting and finance regarding practice-level reporting.
Coordinate project set up with revenue accounting.
Support data logging, tracking, and audit functions related to the same.
Consolidate data across multiple platforms into one summary.
Extract business insights from data using technologies such as advanced Excel function, Alteryx, and Power BI.
Handle sensitive and urgent information from clients, AlixPartners personnel, and other contacts while exercising appropriate judgment when responding.
The eDiscovery Consultant is a full-time role that reports to the eDiscovery & Digital Forensics team. This position is available in our Detroit, Los Angeles, or New York offices. What you'll need
Bachelor's degree with a major with a quantitative focus, such as finance, accounting, or data management.
Two years' professional work experience required; experience with a professional services firm or in-house Risk Management/Legal department is a plus.
Proficient in Excel beyond basic data entry, including ability to use pivot tables, conditional formatting, and more advanced formulas like VLOOKUP and IF-THEN.
Prior work experience in SAP highly preferred.
Experience tracking and managing billing, accounts receivable, and reporting in a professional services firm.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills.
Candidate must be discreet and able to handle highly confidential and sensitive subject matters.
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills; experience working with executives preferred.
Self-starter who can anticipate needs and demonstrate exceptional common sense, intelligence, and judgment to effectively and efficiently complete tasks and solve problems.
Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work well under pressure and maintain an executive presence in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
Proven organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Information Exemption Status: Non-Exempt The Forensic Examiner is a Registered Nurse, Advanced Practice Nurse, or Physicians Assistant employed by Stormont Vail Health reporting to the Clinical Nurse Leader and Director of the Emergency Department. The Forensic Examiner will assist in maintaining the program by providing emergency services for victims of sexual assault, including a complete forensic exam. The Forensic Examiner will work collaboratively with and serve as a resource to appropriate law enforcement agencies, community advocacy groups, media, and legal staff to assure program principles are followed. Forensic Examiner's will implement and monitor performance improvement measures when appropriate. The delivery of professional nursing care at Stormont Vail Health is guided by Jean Watson's Theory of Human Caring and the theory of Shared governance, both of which are congruent with the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
Education Qualifications
Must successfully complete Stormont Vail SANE orientation upon hire and maintain clinical competence as a SANE. Completes yearly SANE competencies as assigned. Required

Be able to explain the SANE/SART program and its role in the community. Contribute to professional growth and development of self and other SANE's. Provide information about the medical-legal exam and SANE/SART program to investigators, and prosecutors. Maintain contact with SANE leadership for at least one year after termination of contract and respond to any and all subpoenas for cases examined while employed as a SANE.

Perform and document the forensic interview and assessment accurately per standards outlined in policy.
