- Follow the procedures set forth in the work instructions or by the Supervisor and/or Lead(s).
- Follow prescribed standards of CNC operations, beginner set-ups of established processes and meeting cycle times of those processes in the machine shop.

This position must read work orders to locate cutting layout lines on stock, to determine dimensions and tolerances, and to determine metal to be cut, type of blade to be used, blade tension, cutting speed, feed rate, table angle, and positions of table stops and guides. This position will accurately complete all paper work associated with work orders as well as performing other tasks as assigned in support of fabrication shop management.

+ Possesses knowledge of machining functions including power button and all switches
+ Must be capable of extensive use of overhead cranes to move materials and parts as needed.

+ Must have knowledge of and experience with basic blueprints and drawings
