Senior Product Designer (UX)
Launchdarkly 4.1
Remote Launchdarkly job
About the Job:
LaunchDarkly's Feature Management experience is central to how customers control software releases. The Foundations and Next teams manage key workflows that enable developers to create, manage, and monitor feature flags-core components of the LaunchDarkly platform. As pioneers in modern feature management, these teams oversee the user experience core, including flag creation, targeting, and developer tools such as IDE integrations and the Developer Toolbar, as well as emerging AI-native workflows, all integral to developers' daily interactions with the product.
We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead design across both teams. This role is the primary UX partner for two major product pillars:
FM Foundations-the core workflows that define how flags are created, organized, targeted, and governed.
FM Next-the future of feature management: AI-powered flag hygiene, the next-generation Developer Toolbar, and contextual in-IDE workflows that reduce friction and eliminate context switching.
You'll be the design lead embedded in a triad with PM and Engineering. Expect wide scope, complex systems, and high impact: this is the original LaunchDarkly product, and the work you do shapes how tens of thousands of developers ship software safely and confidently.
Responsibilities:
Lead design for the core feature management experience, including flag creation, targeting, cleanup, and cross-environment workflows.
Lead discovery, research, and strategy for new investments across Foundations and Next, including predictive targeting, toolbar inspector modes, and AI-native workflows
Map and simplify complex developer workflows, transforming configuration-heavy experiences into intuitive, reliable, and scalable UX patterns.
Design systems, not just screens: information architecture, navigation, patterns, and cross-surface consistency across the platform.
Create high-quality design artifacts (flows, prototypes, specs), ensuring engineering clarity and tight iteration loops.
Partner closely with engineering to understand technical constraints, data models, integration patterns, and SDK behavior; influence implementation early.
Establish frameworks and reusable patterns to streamline future work across teams as new capabilities integrate into developer tools, agents, and AI-powered interactions.
Advocate for developers by grounding decisions in research, testing, telemetry, and qualitative feedback from real workflows.
Contribute to the design system, evolving components and interaction patterns that support highly configurable, state-heavy experiences.
Operate as a design leader within the triad, facilitating alignment, unblocking ambiguity, and driving clarity around direction and trade-offs.
Mentor peers, strengthen critique culture, and help raise the overall quality bar for craft.
About You:
You can take ownership of a large, legacy-rich domain and modernize it without breaking trust.
You enjoy getting deep into complex states, edge cases, and what's actually happening under the hood.
You thrive in early-stage exploration: AI-native workflows, contextual developer tools, predictive flag behavior, agentic interactions.
You think in frameworks: you'd rather fix a pattern than patch a screen.
You're comfortable influencing roadmap direction and building consensus in ambiguous spaces.
You care about developer experience and how UX patterns scale across teams, languages, and workflows.
Qualifications:
6-8 years of experience designing complex products, ideally developer tools, technical platforms, or configuration-heavy SaaS systems.
Expertise in interaction design, information architecture, and system modeling; you identify patterns beneath the UI.
Strength translating highly technical concepts (rules, contexts, targeting logic, multi-environment behavior) into clear, usable experiences.
Ability to lead end-to-end design: discovery → concept → prototype → validation → implementation → monitoring value
Comfort working directly with APIs, SDK concepts, developer workflows, or similar technical constraints.
Experience designing for multi-surface journeys (web app, browser extensions, IDE extensions, agent-driven workflows).
Strong communication and storytelling skills to collaborate and align with PM, Engineering, Docs, Research, GTM, and leadership.
A portfolio demonstrating systemic thinking, clear rationale, and measurable impact.

A portfolio of your work, including examples of several types of content.
A proven track record for putting a content strategy into practice and owning the process from concepting to writing to publishing

Senior Field Operations Manager, Growth + EMEA
Launchdarkly 4.1
Remote Launchdarkly job
About the Job:
LaunchDarkly is looking for a Senior Field Operations Manager to support our Global Growth sales organization, including Corporate, Mid-Market, and Small Enterprise Account Executives, as well as SDRs across AMER and EMEA.
Through strong relationships, deep context, and an understanding of how the field actually operates day to day, you will serve as an embedded, consultative business partner to sales leadership, frontline managers, and the sales team overall. In this role, you will help bring structure, rigor, and clarity to how the business is run by strengthening operating rhythms, improving forecast quality, and reducing surprises across pipeline, deal progression, and core sales processes.
You will partner closely with Sales Enablement, RevOps, Data & Insights, Marketing, and other GTM teams to translate strategy into scalable, repeatable workflows that the field can actually execute. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-velocity environments, enjoys creating order out of ambiguity, earns trust quickly, balances empathy with accountability, and enjoys helping leaders plan proactively rather than react late.
Responsibilities: Serve as the Voice of the Field & Strategic Business Partner
Build trusted relationships with sales leadership, frontline managers, and their teams to deeply understand day-to-day challenges, friction points, and operational needs.
Synthesize qualitative field feedback with quantitative signals to form an independent, balanced point of view.
Identify patterns and themes across the field and translate them into clear problem statements, recommendations, and business impact for GTM leadership.
Support leadership through pre-briefs and post-briefs by highlighting risks, opportunities, and focus areas tied to pipeline health and execution.
Ensure two-way communication by helping the field understand the “why” behind process decisions, operating changes, and prioritization tradeoffs.
Drive Operational Excellence & Core Sales Operating Rhythms
Partner with sales leadership to reinforce and maintain operating rhythms across forecasting, pipeline inspection, deal reviews, and business reviews.
Help ensure forecasting is planful and disciplined by supporting pre-work, risk identification, and follow-through during deal inspection and forecast calls.
Diagnose pipeline health by assessing quality vs. quantity, focus vs. capacity, and translating insights into actionable guidance for managers and reps.
Operationalize core sales processes (e.g., opportunity management and inspection standards) within weekly and monthly rhythms.
Clarify purpose, inputs, and expected outcomes for “run-the-business” activities to reduce duplication and improve execution quality.
Partner Cross-Functionally to Enable Reliable Execution
Work closely with Sales Enablement to ensure programs are implemented smoothly, reinforced through managers, and adopted consistently in the field.
Partner with RevOps and Systems teams to translate field pain points into clear, actionable system or process requirements.
Support major tool and process rollouts by helping define field readiness, sequencing, and adoption risks.
Collaborate with Marketing and Campaign teams to improve campaign follow-up reliability, including ownership, timing, and tooling expectations.
Serve as a first-line escalation point when sales processes or workflows break, routing issues to the appropriate owner and ensuring closure.
Measure, Inspect, and Improve Operational Performance
Track key performance indicators related to pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and execution quality to identify trends and risks.
Use data and field insight to inform recommendations, prioritize improvements, and refine workflows over time.
Document and scale best practices across regions while allowing for regional nuance.
Continuously refine field guidance based on performance data, leader feedback, and observed execution gaps.
Support Business Reviews, QBRs, and Leadership Readouts
Support preparation for quarterly and monthly business reviews by helping clarify focus areas, storyline, and key metrics.
Synthesize themes, risks, and action items from reviews into durable artifacts and clear follow-up plans.
Ensure review outputs translate into next-step priorities and operating adjustments, not just presentations.
About You:
You are operationally minded, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying gaps and solving problems.
You enjoy acting as a thought partner to sales leaders and managers, balancing empathy for the field with accountability to the business.
You bring structure to ambiguous problems and can translate complexity into clear actions.
You thrive in cross-functional environments and communicate clearly with stakeholders at multiple levels.
You are data-informed and comfortable combining quantitative insight with qualitative judgment.
You are energized by improving how teams operate, not just launching new initiatives.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in field operations, revenue operations, sales programs, enablement, or a related GTM role.
Experience supporting Growth, Corporate, Mid-Market, SMB, or other high-velocity sales teams.
Strong understanding of sales processes, opportunity management, and inspection frameworks.
Hands-on experience partnering with sales managers and leaders on forecasting, pipeline health, and deal execution.
Firsthand experience in sales or as an SDR in a SaaS environment.
Experience working with Salesforce, Gong, forecasting workflows, and enablement platforms (e.g., Highspot, Saleshood, or similar).
Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving, evolving environment.
Experience partnering cross-functionally with Enablement, RevOps, Marketing, Product Marketing, and Data & Insights teams.
Why you'll love working here:
You'll help shape how a globally distributed, high-growth sales team operates.
You'll partner closely with sales and GTM leaders, influencing both strategy and execution.
You'll work in a culture that values clarity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
You'll play a key role in strengthening the operational foundation of a critical growth segment at LaunchDarkly.

Backend Engineer, Release Monitoring
Launchdarkly 4.1
Remote Launchdarkly job
About the Job:
LaunchDarkly is looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to play a key role in building a new product line on the Release Monitoring team. You'll be part of the Release Observability pillar, which is focused on making every release safer, faster, and more reliable. Our mission is to redefine how software is released: automating release processes, measuring the real-time impact of feature rollouts, and simplifying debugging when things go wrong. From automated release pipelines to metrics monitoring, error tracking, and fully automated rollbacks, our work ensures every code change is measured, and the entire release process from rollout to issue mitigation is managed for maximum efficiency and reliability.
As a member of the Release Monitoring team, you'll be helping us harness the power of LaunchDarkly's Observability SDKs that power our customers' applications, and aggregate all the data to measure user impact, and use them to make smart decisions about releases.
If you're interested in building the systems that help software teams ship safely at scale, we'd love to work with you.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional partners (product, design, data science, and engineering) to architect and advance our observability products. Leverage your broad experience to facilitate strategic discussions that align technical solutions with business goals, ensuring the delivery of scalable and effective features.
Drive comprehensive end-to-end feature development, taking full ownership from proof of concept through to delivery. Ensure that each feature provides robust observability into system behavior and customer usage patterns post-launch, applying a deep understanding of both technical and user experience considerations to optimize feature performance and reliability.
Proactively identify opportunities for product and user experience improvements, leveraging data insights and feedback to propose innovative, well-reasoned solutions. Lead the implementation of these enhancements, balancing user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility, ensuring each change drives meaningful improvements in engagement and performance.
Provide expert mentorship and support to teammates, guiding them through complex challenges and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment. Your deep expertise will help accelerate their growth, elevate team standards, and enhance overall productivity and technical excellence.
Actively lead and contribute to code reviews, spec reviews, and architecture design, ensuring alignment with best practices, long-term scalability, and maintainability. Your experience will drive thorough and thoughtful evaluation of solutions, while providing constructive feedback that elevates the quality of the codebase.
Play a key role in advancing engineering standards, tooling, and processes across the technology organization. By identifying areas for improvement and implementing process innovations, you will shape a more efficient and effective development environment, empowering teams to deliver high-quality features faster.
Qualifications:
8+ years of professional experience in backend software development, with a history of contributing to robust, well-architected systems.
Demonstrated experience working on scalable and reliable distributed systems, ideally in environments that support enterprise-grade requirements.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Go, Java, Rust, C++), with a willingness and ability to learn new technologies as needed.
Experience partnering with data scientists and familiarity building data products (experimentation, analytics, big data visualizations)
Experience building and consuming APIs, particularly in contexts that support system integration or workflow automation.
Good understanding of system design and domain modeling, with some exposure to building reusable components or internal tooling.
Familiarity with observability concepts such as metrics, tracing, structured logging, and debugging in distributed systems.
A collaborative engineer who takes ownership of their work, communicates clearly, and thrives in cross-functional teams.
Experience working directly with customers and understands how their work impacts business goals
Strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering impactful solutions
Demonstrated ability to write clean, well-documented, and testable code with a focus on maintainability and extensibility.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and self-directed approach to work.
Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience working with distributed teams.
