Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Laundry Operations Senior Manager is responsible for planning, assigning, and supervising the work of the laundry staff to assure proper staffing, sanitary conditions, safe use, and maintenance of commercial equipment.
Primary Tasks:
* Management of laundry staff which includes coaching, evaluating, directing, approving and/or disapproving employee leave requests, scheduling, and performance management to include; discipline, hiring, firing, and payroll.
* Train Laundry Staff in all areas of linen care and safe operation of commercial laundry machinery assuring that laundry tasks are completed in accordance with procedures, standards, and policies.
* Create, update and review SOP's, training programs and job descriptions as necessary
* Ensure compliance with cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on time delivery at the lowest possible cost.
* Monitor and control all expenses including maintenance costs to assure that financial goals are being met.
* Oversee the maintenance of all commercial laundry equipment.
* Review and approve or reject invoices to ensure accurate pricing and items received.
* Order and manage necessary supplies ensuring workers have the equipment and tools necessary to do their jobs.
* Retain proper controls on inventory of linen and detergent supplies to ensure that all properties have adequate supplies and inventory of laundry items to address business levels.
* Perform other duties as may be assigned.

* Associate degree in hospitality or related field
* Ability to obtain CLLM Certification
