In addition to conducting outreach to existing partners, the attorney will be asked to establish new relationships in areas across the state that historically have provided fewer referrals. The attorney is also expected to be a supportive colleague to other members of the unit and to the program as a whole.
The attorney must be admitted to the practice of law in Maine or be eligible for licensure with the Maine Bar and able to practice under MRCP 11 (c) while working at Pine Tree.
