You will receive hands-on experience working on substantive projects in a dynamic in-house legal department with exposure to and participation in high-level business and legal decision making and problem solving. You will receive training and development through practical legal experience, while receiving informal mentorship and guidance from experienced attorneys. This role allows you to explore potential career paths and practice areas by meetings with current and former attorneys in different roles throughout New York Life. You will participate in internal and external networking events to gain insight into the intersection of law and business and to build relationships in the legal field.
This is a paid internship located at New York Life's home office in White Plains, New York. within the Office of the General Counsel. The internship dates are June 1st 2026 through August 28th 2026. General housing and transportation assistance will not be provided.
