Drafting and negotiating the series supply agreements, tooling agreements and other commercial agreements.
Dealing on a day-to-day basis with suppliers and their legal advisors.
Securing key supply chain arrangements, including to support project timelines.
Managing and reporting internally on progress of supply chain arrangements.
Liaising with PP procurement team to achieve the above.
Requirements
Qualified as a US lawyer (Michigan or similar US state);
Must be comfortable taking responsibility for analyzing and weighing competing factors and making independent judgements relating to commercial agreements
Previous experience at senior level in a law firm or in-house legal team (upwards of 7+ years post qualification or equivalent legal experience).
In-house experience would be advantageous, particularly in a Tier 1 or major Tier 2 company.
Experience of any of the following areas would be advantageous: manufacturing, plant and equipment, automotive, tooling and long-term parts supply.

This position is part of a joint project with Uniting Three Fires Against Violence, which is a Statewide Tribal domestic violence and sexual assault Coalition serving the Tribes located in Michigan. The Tribal Survivor Project staff are also part of the larger CVLAP program, which is connected with civil legal aid attorneys across the state that specialize in providing legal assistance in cases involving, domestic violence, stalking, sexual assault and elder abuse.
