Annmarie is a business leader with deep experience developing strategic vision and implementation plans in corporate and non-profit environments. She has extensive experience leading teams, building strong, collaborative culture, and managing through significant organizational changes. Annmarie is an attorney and a political science PhD with a long-standing interest in the intersection of politics, public policy, law, and technology. She has extensive experience building cross-sector partnerships and driving multi-stakeholder projects.

As General Manager of Technology & Civic Engagement at Microsoft, Annmarie led teams that engaged with the civic tech ecosystem in multiple cities to help solve pressing challenges in these communities. As a Fellow at Data & Society Research Institute, she became deeply interested in artificial intelligence and its impact on society, particularly on law, legal education, and the delivery of legal services.

A native of Massachusetts, Annmarie is well known within the technology community. She was appointed by Governor Deval Patrick to the Board of the Mass Tech Collaborative and the Governor’s STEM Council and served on the executive committees of the Mass Tech Leadership Council and the New England Council. She founded the Innovation & Policy Center at Microsoft’s New England Research & Development Center (NERD) in Cambridge.
