    This is a Part-Time Camp Counselor position for upcoming school break camp program. The purpose of this position is to supervise, teach, and instruct youth in various games, arts and crafts, and leisure skills in a camp environment that is for children ages 5 to 12. Counselor will be responsible for a designated group during the day to provide an exceptional camp experience. Under the general supervision of the Recreation Manager and the Recreation Coordinator, Camp Counselors will assist with the planning, organization, supervision and implementation of a daily activity schedule for up to 15 elementary school aged children. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties are normal for this position. MINIMUM Q UALIFICATIONS : A minimum of one (1) year experience working paid or as a volunteer in a recreational camp setting, recreation program, classroom, afterschool setting, daycare facility, or related activity is preferred. Applicant must be able to perform the essential functions of this role, with or without an accommodation.
