A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A TELLER
As a Teller, you cheerfully greet customers as they walk through our doors of the branch. You are the first point of contact for the majority of our customers and the first impression when a customer enters the branch. Because of your friendly and service-oriented personality, building relationships with our customers comes naturally.
You stay busy as you efficiently process routine financial transactions for our customers such as deposits, withdrawals, checks, and loan payments. You also have opportunities to utilize your product knowledge and recommend financial products and services to meet the current and future financial needs of our customers. During your workday, you maintain a cash drawer with all the proper controls, vouchers, receipts, security, proofs, etc., ensuring it balances at the end of each day. Being detail oriented and accurate is an extremely important skill since you will spend the majority of your day counting cash, entering information into a computer, complying with check-cashing guidelines and looking for fraudulent activity.
As an ambitious learner and team member, you eagerly take on all service opportunities - from the easy going to the challenging. Your service tasks include new account processing, updating customer and account information and providing needs-based solutions for customers. * One-year specialized experience equivalent to at least grade CO-7 or GS-7 in the federal service. Specialized experience is experience that demonstrates knowledge of agricultural program policies and practices to independently examine applications, supporting documents, and program reports. In addition, experience applying analytical and evaluative techniques to assist in assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of agricultural program operations to make recommendations for improvements. * A combination of education and experience as described above.
You may start at the CO-11 level if you have one of the following qualifications:

The Firearms Instructor/Senior Range Safety Officer will serve as a range safety officer and course administrator for firearms training courses with responsibility for planning, organizing, and presenting and/or managing the presentation of one or more of these courses and for evaluating training effectiveness to ensure that objectives are met. The incumbent will also serve as a Foreign Affairs Security Training Center (FASTC) subject matter expert on firearms. The position is based in Blackstone, VA.
Essential Functions
Operates the Diplomatic Security (DS) range facility and judgmental use of force facility ensuring compliance with OSHA and/or EPA standards and regulations.
Plans, organizes, and instructs/manages the presentation of firearms training courses, which may include basic and advanced firearms and use of deadly force.
Conducts firearms and deadly force scenario-based training; provides appropriate after-action reviews and feedback to trainees.
Applies U.S. Constitutional law, relevant case law, and DS policies to firearms training and use of force scenarios.
Reviews established training objectives, lesson plans, training materials, and instructional methods prior to the beginning of assigned courses.
Research and reviews current reports related to DS and introduces applicable information into firearms training courses.
Resolves problems that occur in the preparation for and during training.
Evaluates training effectiveness to ensure that training objectives have been met.
Complies with all Federal Law Enforcement Training and Accreditation (FLETA) standards.
Complies with all DS and Firearms Training program policies, procedures, and standards.
