Pros of working at Lawson Products

The only pro working at Lawson was the paid on time.

Cons of working at Lawson Products

Horrible leadership, inventory levels always low, horrible pay plan. If you do not hit your over inflated quota you did not receive your monthly bonus which is one third of your compensation.

Lawson Products benefits

I worked at Lawson Products 32 years. My best perk was upper management did not work in the field with agents. None of them knew our business and were a horrible distraction. Lawson hires managers from different backgrounds, they know nothing about our industry. No personal contact with sales field.

What do you like best about Lawson Products's CEO and the leadership team?

Nothing. Very uninformed, do not know how we go to market. They should all be replaced. The leadership team is a joke.

How would you improve Lawson Products's culture?

Get rid of Caesar Lunuez and start over. Pay your sales people who create ALL of the income. Fire mid management, they are not needed, you need strong Regional managers.

How did you prepare for the Lawson Products interview?

I was hired 32 years ago. They looked at sales experience, character and ability to get along with customers. Then we actually went to the field and sold. Not work on stupid shit created by someone inside who has never sold before.

How does your compensation at Lawson Products compare to the industry average?

Horrible, worst in the industry.

What's the diversity at Lawson Products like?

It does not affect me so I don't care.

What brings you the most joy at Lawson Products?

Hoping the day goes fast so I can be home with my Family.
