This is not a remote work option. **Responsibilities** + Provide regular and ongoing legal advice with respect to legal issues facing the Company. + Assist and coordinate with other members of the Legal Department with other legal needs of the Company, as necessary. + Provide comprehensive oversight of all legal matters of each District and provide a full range of timely and responsive legal advice and support to each District Management. + Draft joint venture agreements, consortiums, MOU's, term sheets, and other service agreements and associated transactional documents. + Ensure the Company's contracting protocols, commercial standards and guidelines are followed; + Coordinate with the internal stakeholders and subject matter experts relative to the legal aspects and risks of matters assigned; + Responsible for negotiations of prime contracts, joint ventures, MOUs, term sheets and related agreements; + Coordinate negotiations on major subcontracts with the business lead and internal supply network lead; + Perform initial case assessment and review of relevant contractual provisions, facts, and applicable law to provide early accurate case/matter risk assessments. + Participate as an integral member of teams in the development of detailed claims. + Collaborate with outside counsel, internal resources, and external experts on the resolution of claims, disputes, and other matters. + Coordinate resolution strategy with the internal stakeholders and subject matter experts. **Qualifications** + Minimum of 3 years of transactional, corporate and/or litigation experience with a large law firm and/or in-house legal department with experience similar as detailed above. + J.D. and active attorney's license + Effective organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously. + Pragmatic judgment, particularly in determining the significance of legal matters and effectively measuring and balancing legal and business risks. + Excellent written and oral communications skills, with ability to synthesize complex legal issues to essential elements for internal clients and interact with Sr. leaders and C-Suite. + Self-driven & resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as in groups in a demanding environment.
