Description and Functions Open Until Filled GENERAL DESCRIPTION: In Casper, Wyoming, the District Attorney's Office has an immediate opening for an Assistant District Attorney. The position handles the prosecution of felony-level offenses. The position prepares a variety of court documents and argues motions before the trial court; conducts jury and bench trials; confers with investigative agencies; plans, coordinates, and institutes activities related to the prosecution of felony cases; coordinates case investigations with law enforcement agencies; checks, instructs or directs the work of their assigned legal assistant as necessary. Candidates must currently be licensed to practice in Wyoming and be in good standing with the Wyoming State Bar and must be able to demonstrate a high level of initiative and responsibility.
