o Oversee recruitment efforts to effectively and efficiently source and select applicants.
o Work with department heads and hiring managers to understand employee job duties and business requirements to develop sourcing and recruitment strategies.
o Review job applications and perform preliminary screening of applicants and candidates.
o Serve as first point of contact for relocations/transfers (e.g., initiate vendor estimates, arrange temporary housing, and connect with community resources).
o Provide guidance to hiring managers for executing competitive offers; facilitate and support new hire from offer process through onboarding.
· Manage Talent Management processes and tools to provide constructive guidance to management on decisions related to issues of consistency, equity, diversity, and employee development.
· Organize and participate in local succession planning meetings.
· Evaluate and execute employment decisions related to hiring, discipline, and terminations. Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance with relevant federal, state, and local laws.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience and 3 years of supervisory or management experience, required
· HRCI PHR or SHRM CP certification+
· Construction or Manufacturing experience preferred
· Good understanding of business operations

Frazier & Deeter is currently seeking a Tax Senior Manager to focus on our High Net Worth clients. The HNW Tax Senior Manager will work closely with partners, as well as staff and clients and will be responsible for planning, supervising, reviewing, and completing client engagements. Our Tax Managers provide proactive tax savings and profitability suggestions for our clients and work to attract new clients, cultivate client relationships, and serve as a key contact for designated clients.
Responsibilities:
Review and manage the preparation of tax returns for our high net worth individual clients, business returns and trust returns.
Consult with our estate/gift tax subject matter experts to develop income and estate/gift tax planning strategies for our clients.
Provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients - design, and implement tax-planning strategies for clients and manage to budget.
Develop a project vision and set challenging personal and client service team goals.
Manage, develop, train, and mentor staff on tax projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews.
Maintain knowledge on the changes in tax laws/regulations and industry trends.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Accounting.
Active CPA license.
5 to 10 years of progressive public accounting tax experience.
Experience with corporate taxation, individuals, and partnerships.
Ability to develop tax planning strategies for clients.
Experience supervising, training, developing, and reviewing the work of staff and senior associates.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Summary:
A Tax Manager works closely with partners, staff and clients. They are responsible for planning, managing, reviewing, and completing client engagements. Tax Managers provide proactive tax savings and profitability suggestions for our clients and work to attract new clients, cultivate client relationships, and serve as a key contact for designated clients.
Our professionals have one goal in mind when working with clients - to help them minimize their tax liability while keeping them in compliance with ever-changing tax laws. In addition to providing consulting and compliance tax services, our professionals offer several additional services, including stock option planning and international tax advice. We also provide expert consultation regarding tax implications on investments, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, and liquidations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage and review complex tax returns for our individual clients, business returns and trust returns
Understand client's business needs, identify and analyze tax issues, and clearly articulate relevant tax issues, application of authority, and conclusions
Lead tax engagements from start to finish, including planning, budgeting and monitoring fees, execution, and delivery
Develop and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional service and understanding their business needs.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of client tax returns, meeting all regulatory deadlines
Review work performed by team members, providing constructive feedback to ensure quality and accuracy
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, including the ability to interpret complex tax laws and regulations
Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines simultaneously
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Accounting.
Active CPA license.
5 + years of Corporate Tax experience in public accounting
Familiarity with ASC 740 (Accounting for Income Taxes) and FAS 109
Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g, CCH Axcess) and Microsoft Office Suite
Proven expertise in overseeing complex client engagements and delivering high-quality client service.
Ability to develop tax planning strategies for clients.
Experience supervising, training, developing, and reviewing the work of staff and senior associates.
