Essential Functions:
Observes color of baked batter on grill conveyor to detect deviations.Monitors quality of product, removes substandard product and tosses in totes on floor.Monitors flow of product and flippers.Lights gas burners to heat conveyor grill.Adjusts controls to monitor speed and temperature of conveyor grill.Records information regarding process speed, waste and weight.Checks temperature of egg whites and product coming out of cooker and freezer.Responsible for monitoring internal temperatures for the “Cook and Chill” step (including observations and/or measurements) to assess whether the critical control point (CCP) is being met for HACCP.Must be free of foodborne illnesses.Understand and follow Safety, Food Safety (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards at all times.Trained and validated to clean and sanitize workstation equipment (IE. cookers, depositors, conveyors, floors, walls, etc.) according to PPE requirements.Trained and validated on ladder safety.Trained and validated on proper water and drain management.Responsible for reporting food safety issues or concerns to supervisors, management or personnel with authority to initiate action.Other production specific duties as needed.

Primary Responsibilities
Prepare food for AM Shift
Serve dinner at grill station
Operate point of sale system for customer transactions.
Clean high traffic areas including kitchen floors, dish room, dining room tables, kitchen areas and equipment.

Other Responsibilities
Cooks and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives
Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods
Arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to established guidelines
Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
