WHAT YOU WILL DO AS THE
JANITORIAL / CUSTODIAN LEAD
?

Responsible for engaging at a high level to maintain good relations with the employees within a fast-paced production facility. You will work alongside the employees to ensure tasks are completed and company policies are being met and/or exceeded. You will be a true advocate for the company and the staff.

Effectively coach and mentor employees Ensure that the employees are working safely Administrative support: GFTX Janitorial & Workplace inbox monitoring, ticket management, invoice preview & logging, misc. signage, meeting management & minutes reporting. Small projects and operations support Inspections, QA/QC, Workplace Standards document management and review. Supply & inventory ordering and management support


WHAT YOU WILL BRING AS THE
JANITORIAL / CUSTODIAN LEAD
?
At least 2 years of relevant experience required (janitorial experience preferred but not required) Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus but not required Must be comfortable in active construction zone OSHA 10 required, training to be provided if needed Experience in handling sensitive, confidential information Strong organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize and switch between tasks frequently Excellent human relations and effective communication skills required to develop cooperative work relationships with employees at all levels of the organization Ability to adhere to and meet deadlines Strong administrative and data management skills, high attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required

Wage: $18.00 per hour plus quarterly bonuses

Hours: Primarily evening shifts Monday through Friday

General Description of the Position:

Provide guidance, instruction, direction and leadership to a group of individuals on job skills and duties. Responsible for the cleaning of assigned areas at industry standards and production rates. Requires the ability to effectively interact with professionals, other staff, and people supported. Must be able to implement training processes at various work sites. Must have a clear understanding of janitorial industry standards and meet those standards in all assigned areas.

Qualifications:

· Valid driver’s license. Must be insurable and have a safe driving record.

· Graduation from an accredited high school, with preference for college education.

· Must pass a qualifying background check.

· Must have a negative drug test.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide Janitorial Services According to the Contract
  2. Uphold standards of work contract at all times.
  3. Ensure safety is being maintained in the work area at all times.
  4. Provide training and guidance to the person’s supported on the crew according to janitorial training curriculum and contract specification at each work site.
  5. Provide transportation to and from work sites.
  6. Maintain adequate chemical and equipment inventory at each contract work site and ensure rotation of stock.
  7. Perform tasks required for completion of contracted services according to building schedules.
  8. Assure all contract quality specifications are met by completing daily inspections and quality control forms as assigned.
  9. Perform all preventative maintenance requirement to equipment for which responsible for.
  10. Complete required paperwork for production records, time sheets, trip (mileage) sheets, contact sheets, etc.
  11. Participate in annual team meetings for person served as directed.
  12. Document individual hours on production records and ensure payroll accuracy by validating individual recaps before payroll deadlines.
  13. Provide Leadership
  14. Role model the Power of B and Teamwork Principles.
  15. Consistently model appropriate work skills and hold persons supported to the same expectations.
  16. Model and teach appropriate interaction with supervisors and co-workers at job location.
