The Dispatcher, Motor Vehicle Lead directs activities Utilizes the Fleet Management Information System (FMIS) to dispatch vehicles summary is an overview of the position.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for ensuring that scheduling, dispatching, maintaining vehicles; movement of passengers and cargo, driver qualifications, receiving and issuing vehicle, and maintaining and providing accurate equipment records are all performed in accordance with applicable regulations and SOPs.
* Maintain numerous reports and data collection, including but not limited to the TMP Roster, Vehicle Reimbursables, Vehicle Damage Report, GSA Marshalling Report, Monthly Workload Data, and GFP issues.
* Ensure all positions in the TMP complete date reporting, and ensure all reports are on time.
* Direct vehicle operations as necessary to accomplish any valid requirement.
* Periodically inspect all GSA vehicles for incident/accident damages; assisting customers and TMP personnel in the preparation of vehicle work orders and determining type and source of service required; monitoring status of vehicles at service/repair vendors.
* Direct dispatchers and provide coordination on manufacturer recall notices between customers and servicing vendors.
* Prepares DA Form 2401, Vehicle Dispatch Log and FS Form 829, FMIS Dispatch Sheets, Daily/Monthly Utilization Record, prior to dispatch of vehicles.
* Coordinates maintenance of vehicles with TMP customers and the Maintenance Contractor; and ensures that the Forms required by maintenance are completed and furnished to the maintenance contractor at time vehicle is turned in for maintenance.
* Ensures FS Form 829's and the FMIS Dispatch Sheets are closed out at the end of the month and new forms are prepared for all vehicles.
* Maintains data required for reports, to include but not limited to, number of requirements, number of trips, hours of operation, mileage, passengers transported, and accidents.
* Work with customers on changes of time frame, locations and number of passengers
* Advise Project Manager of events throughout the day.
* May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty including nights, weekends, and holidays
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
* High School graduate or equivalent.
* Must have minimum one year of related work experience
* Prior dispatching experience and a Class B New Jersey license with passenger endorsement is desirable.
* Must possess and continuously maintain a current driver's license.
* Must be able to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) for computer access.

* Clerical and computer or other experience, which requires familiarity with the scheduling and operation of motor vehicles in open street and highway traffic.
