This position is responsible for independently delivering engineering services, from conceptual design through construction completion.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Complete project planning, coordination, and execution with some oversight
Independently complete conceptual design through construction drawing development for multiple small and medium sized standard projects simultaneously
Create conceptual designs certified to Building Codes, Energy Codes, and LEED standards
Responsible for HVAC calculations, design and layout of equipment, duct and piping systems on assigned projects
Solid understanding of applications engineering such as psychrometrics, refrigeration, acoustics, and controls systems
Appropriate engagement of engineering applications and/or managers in project decisions
Proactively communicate and coordinate project designs with Project Management, Construction and Service departments, Controls, and other trade partners
Conduct economic and energy analyses
Field engineering: assist with project execution, trade coordination, scheduling, document management and problem solving/troubleshooting, as required
Responsible for the quality of design drawings and models
Effectively and professionally communicate with colleagues and project team members
Manage time to meet project schedules and task deadlines
Oversee other design team members to complete project assignments when requested by Manager
Strong understanding of ACCO engineering standards and project execution processes

Position Requirements:
BS in Engineering or Construction Management
Professional Engineer license highly desirable, but not required
3+ years of experience with a Design/Build Mechanical Contractor or consultant
Excellent understanding of engineering and design fundamentals

Competitive Wages:
$35.87 to $56.73 per hour. Ensure that all Dry Etch/Wet Process equipment and any other equipment in their area of responsibility is properly maintained (preventive maintenance and repairs) and released back to production in a production-worthy state.
Ensure that safe work practices are being used to maintain equipment and any required work instructions include use of proper protocols for safety (includes LOTO and interlock control)
Maintain work instructions and procedures for the CFA manufacturing equipment team to utilize in their maintenance efforts
Ensure there are sufficient spare parts available for the responsible equipment
Work with the LeadEngineers to ensure that the shift teams are properly trained on wet process equipment procedures and any required training certifications are assigned to the shift technicians for performing their duties
Provide regular reports of equipment status, activities, and other information, including engineering requests and equipment/process qualification
Support the fab shift teams in their efforts to maintain wet process equipment and monitor the performance of the shift teams to ensure equipment is properly maintained, work is thoroughly documented, and proper verifications are being implemented for tracks to be released back to production.
Attend the Daily Area Meeting (DAM) in the fab to ensure any support need from the fab team is addressed and any requests for the fab team are conveyed for priorities, maintenance needs, etc.
Work with facilities and the project team on new equipment installs and equipment projects
Ensure any calibrations, including hand-held equipment, are performed as scheduled and meet requirements
Mentor the equipment technicians to ensure they apply sound troubleshooting when working on down equipment
Provide technical support and perform higher level equipment maintenance and repairs.
Work with production and the NPI/R&D teams on task and/or engineering requests
Ensure that all equipment maintenance work performed is properly and thoroughly documented in Maintenance Manager (MaiMa), including work performed by the tool owner
Maintain all equipment maintenance scheduling in Oracle EAM and any equipment qualifications in MaiMa
Ensure all PM checklists and work flows are properly maintained in MaiMa and that the data that goes into SPACE is properly set up (limits, rules, etc.) and reaction procedures are in place for the technicians to follow
Work with the equipment technicians to improve work instructions, procedures, and best known methods for performing equipment maintenance
Assist the process engineering team to resolve equipment issues and items that are impacting the performance of the equipment
Keep the Fab Equipment and Engineering Manager, LeadEngineers, and Production Supervisors informed of area issues and progress
Work with the MOS and IT teams to provide support required for equipment in your work station
