We are a 100% remote company where you will work from your home with company-provided equipment to set you up for success. Semi-frequent travel to professional office settings and other events locally and nationally; some overnight travel expected.
Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $136,000 - $172,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at Shaw/Scott, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a generous benefits package, including company paid health insurance, 401K with employer match, 4 weeks PTO per year, parental leave, communication allowance, and more.
Our preferred location for this role includes the following states: Washington, Oregon, California, Chicago, Pennsylvania, New York, and Vermont.

Solution Architect
The County of Santa Clara is looking for a highly qualified Identity & Access Management (IAM) subject matter expert (SME) that will assist the county in current Microsoft O365 and Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) operations and provide guidance and assistance in implementing, operating, and maintaining a future enterprise wide IAM solution. They will also help in researching, designing, architecting, and operationalizing an enterprise IAM solution for the County while also taking into consideration the integration of existing systems and solutions. The role requires expertise in Single Sign-On integrations, Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) operations, Microsoft O365 administration, Azure, IAM, and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions.
Responsibilities
Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) administration
Work with internal stakeholders across numerous technical functions to develop and update technical roadmap for a IAM solution
Operate as the senior subject matter expert for the MIM and IAM project
Implement the policies and procedures related to IAM functions
Responsible for complex program design, testing, debugging and documentation.
Ensure user experience considerations are incorporated into the program design and delivered solution.
Provide recommendations on MIM and IAM best practices and help establish the centralized IAM service function to support internal user base
Lead the proof of concept, product selection and deployment of the IAM solution
Identify areas of technical consolidation as well as IAM governance requirements for non-centralized functions
Understand system dependencies and interrelation to the business
Perform capacity planning and analysis of infrastructure systems
Analyze complex cross-functional and cross-platform issues
Required Skills
8+ years of relevant Identity and Access Management and/or Identity Governance and Administration experience
8+ years of relevant Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) experience
8+ years of relevant Microsoft O365 administration experience
5+ years of experience with multiple authentication and authorization solutions and directory platforms
3+ years of experience with privileged access management solutions
Extensive experience with the design and configuration of Third-Party integrations leveraging SAML
Excellent understanding of authentication, authorization, role-based access, least privilege and segregation of duties access control concepts.
Proven experience leading the troubleshooting and solving issues related to identities, access, accounts, authentication, authorization, entitlements, and permissions.
Strong decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate actions.
Thorough, detail-oriented and quality-driven with excellent communication and inter-personal skills
Experience migrating from Microsoft Identity Manager or equivalent identity management solution
Good understanding of Microsoft Identity Manager synchronization service, password change notification service, and connectors.

About the job
This position supports the GTM Solutions Sales team. As a Solution Acceleration Architect, you will accelerate adoption of new solutions and platform capabilities with our top global customers. You will run build workshops, develop early‑adoption playbooks, and support customers from demo to POC to MVP in a production environment. You will collaborate closely with EnterpriseArchitects, Demo Platform Engineering, Professional Services, and SI Partner teams to define adoption blueprints ahead of launch and graduation of new solutions.
You will lead the “build‑with” programs for Global Direct accounts, including activation events, build hackathons, and workshops that drive builder activation, adoption, and value realization of our new solutions and capabilities.
Responsibilities
Drive B2B builder activation events and hackathons at flagship or target Direct accounts to accelerate adoption of new solutions.
Define and refine the adoption blueprint by partnering closely with EnterpriseArchitects, Demo Platform Engineering, Professional Services, and SI Partners on demos, repos, starter apps, sample code, and companion technical guides that capture the mindshare of builders within target accounts and the broader B2B builder community.
Drive adoption of the next‑best solution and platform capabilities for customers.
Evangelize Twilio within the B2B builder communities of the target accounts by building new POCs and demos that bring to life architectures discussed at the C‑suite and line‑of‑business levels in the sales cycles.
Accelerate customer adoption in paid pilots for new platform capabilities and/or POCs for new solutions at launch.
Utilize your software engineering expertise to ensure customers' builder teams develop a full understanding of the platform capabilities of the solutions being pitched or sold.
Work closely with Demo Platform Engineering and EnterpriseArchitecture teams to ensure C‑suite positioning and higher‑level reference architectures are properly activated within the builder communities of the target accounts.
Qualifications

Strong communication skills and executive presence, whether in board rooms with C‑level stakeholders, customer meetings, or internal meetings with cross‑functional stakeholders.
Ability to have strong opinions, remain flexible, and thrive in ambiguous environments.
Strong understanding of Twilio's products and services, and the broader market dynamics of SaaS, specifically in cloud computing, Gen AI, CRM, CDP, and/or CPaaS.
Ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders and work collaboratively.
Creative thinking and problem‑solving skills, with a track record of thinking outside the box and delivering on “wow.”
Prior technical presales and/or solution engineering experience strongly preferred.
Master's degree is a plus but not required.
Location
This role will be remote and based in the United States.
We anticipate approximately 10% travel to connect in person in meaningful ways.

This role is open to candidates outside of specific restricted states. Compensation ranges vary by location:
Colorado, Hawaii, Minnesota or Vermont: $138,700 - $173,400
Washington D.C., Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts or California (outside SF Bay Area): $146,800 - $183,600
New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or the San Francisco Bay Area, California: $163,100 - $203,900
Equity and benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid sick time, paid personal time off, and paid parental leave.
