The Role:
The Product team at Carrot is seeking a Content DesignLead to help shape mobile experiences focused on helping people improve their fertility and hormonal health.
This role is a hands-on opportunity for an expert practitioner who thrives in early-stage product development and who is adept at working across domains and levels. In a given week, you might define and write the many states of a complex interaction, experiment with new variables for an LLM prompt, present product ideas to cross-functional leaders, give feedback on design system iterations, and synthesize input from clinical partners.
We're looking for someone who moves toward ambiguity with excitement, asks "why" before "what,” and brings rigor and clarity to everything they touch. You approach novel problems with a spirit of experimentation and rapid iteration. You know that content design is a constitutionally strategic practice, and that interface is only the tip of the UX iceberg.
In this role, you will:
Partner with a product designer to co-lead development of intuitive, compelling mobile experiences that drive repeat engagement and healthy habit building
Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers from concept to launch
Deeply understand complex problems for our customers, members, and internal teams, and propose solutions that meet business goals, technical constraints, and user needs
Develop and refine LLM prompts that improve personalization and efficacy
Conduct research, using qualitative and quantitative insights to drive strategy and design decisions
Define, design, and steward interactions, IA, language, and concepts that scale and cohere across a complex ecosystem
Seek and provide feedback through design critiques, engineering reviews, and workshops
Build consensus and maintain alignment with stakeholders and leadership via collaboration, influencing, storytelling, and formal presentations
Nurture relationships across the organization to uphold and further develop content design and UX's positions as foundational strategic disciplines
Help shape our team's culture, process, and future
Advocate for users through the entire product development process
The Team:
Carrot's Content Design team works collaboratively to iterate on a rapidly evolving platform and service. You'll report to the Senior UX Strategist and work closely with a product design partner, a product manager, engineers, other designers, and cross-functional teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
7+ years of professional experience in product content design and strategy
Portfolio that highlights systems thinking, problem-solving, exceptional writing, cross-functional collaboration, and measurable impact in a product context
Experience conducting user research and translating insights into product solutions
Highly developed sense of ownership and accountability
Ability to build consensus, drive alignment, and influence leaders in a dynamic, cross-functional environment
Talent for prioritization, trade-off negotiation, and pivoting as work evolves
Experience with design tools (e.g., Figma), CMSes, and user research platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in behavior change
Experience with 0-1 product development and/or early-stage companies
Experience presenting to and working with senior business leaders
Experience building mobile experiences that drive repeat engagement
Experience with or deep interest in AI and prompting
Success working with/on multi-disciplinary product teams
Experience with health tech, women's health, and/or fertility
Familiarity with localization and strategic considerations for a global audience
Experience founding or substantively scaling content design practices
Experience with conversational design
Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive content practices
Appetite for continuous growth and feedback, as well as a developed talent for mentoring others
Compensation:
Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The starting base salary for this position will range from $145,000-$175,000. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.

Home Design Lead
Higharc
Remote lead level designer job
About Us
Higharc is a VC-backed startup that is changing how new homes are designed and built. Join a founding team who've shipped products for Autodesk, Electronic Arts, Nike, and Apple. We have raised a total of $83M with support from top-notch venture capital firms and more than 18 strategic investors-industry leaders in construction, building products manufacturing, and distribution.
We're seeking a systematic, product-minded Home DesignLead to help conceptualize and develop families of scalable home designs - homes that can flex across regions, lots, codes, and price points. This is not a traditional architecture role, it's an opportunity to help shape the future of home design at scale.
What You'll Do
You'll help design homes as adaptable, repeatable products, not one-off architectural projects. These will serve as the foundation for a fully automated builder experience. Importantly, this role is part of a broader team of BIM and home design experts. The Home DesignLead will be responsible for conceptual design and for maintaining a standard of care for design quality.
Expect to:
Design adaptable home families and template designs: Create plan templates that work across a wide variety of regions, markets, and lot conditions - from narrow infill lots to wider suburban parcels.
Systematize flexibility: Create robust options and configurations that enable builders to choose from pre-vetted choices for elevations, layouts, and structural details without reinventing the wheel.
Ensure regional code and site adaptability: Incorporate common code settings, foundation systems, and site strategies for national applicability.
Balance design quality and efficiency: Embed value-engineering principles into the design system - delivering homes that are beautiful, buildable, and affordable. Create flexibility through value-engineering options to meet a range of builder cost targets
Contribute to a new kind of plan library: Help define the structure of our option catalog, finish packages, and documentation for small builder workflows.
Participate in design reviews and maintain responsibility for technical accuracy, drawing clarity, and coordination across disciplines
Contribute to the development of standard details, design guidelines, and modeling best practices that support automation and scalability
About You
This role requires a detail-oriented, technically capable designer who can think and work at multiple scales - from site strategy and code compliance to plan configuration logic and value-engineering.
You have:
5+ years of experience in residential architecture or homebuilding, with demonstrated delivery of full CD sets in multiple states
Deep familiarity with single family homes, residential detailing, and single-family code requirements
Experience thinking systematically to balance code, operations, and design tradeoffs at scale
Comfort with parametric design thinking or configuration logic is a plus
Familiarity with building systems, cost-effective detailing, and standard construction methods
Understanding of customer-centric design in a sales or homebuyer context
Exposure to code-driven or computational design tools
Experience working with national or regional production homebuilders
Working at Higharc
Higharc has been remote first since our founding in 2018. We offer flexible hours so you can do your best work without missing out on life. Higharc offers competitive salaries with significant equity, in a fast-growing, well-funded company.
Personal healthiness is an important value for us- we provide comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, with unlimited PTO, and meaningful maternity/paternity leave to all U.S based employees that are full-time. You'll also have access to other big-company benefits such like short and long-term disability plans and a 401K. Haven't worked remotely before? We provide a stipend to create the ideal home office.

Design Lead
Dagster Labs
Remote lead level designer job
About Us
At Dagster Labs, our mission is simple but ambitious: to empower every organization to build a productive, scalable data platform. We're the brains behind Dagster, the open-source tool developers love, and Dagster+, our managed cloud. From scrappy startups to global enterprises, thousands of teams trust us to power the data behind their analytics, machine learning, and AI breakthroughs.
We believe the AI era runs on reliable, high-quality data. That's why we make data platforms easier to test, easier to understand, and actually enjoyable to use. Dagster is quickly becoming the backbone of how the world builds intelligent systems, and the best AI companies are built on top of Dagster.
We're a small, well-funded team with big energy and a track record of shipping software people rave about. We aim high and work as a team, holding ourselves to the highest standards and trusting eachother to deliver. We care about how we work together: no egos, no drama, just a lot of curiosity and a drive to make something meaningful.
If you want to help shape the future of data and AI and have fun doing it, come build with us.
About the Role
As a DesignLead at Dagster Labs, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Dagster's user experience across both product and brand. Design is a key differentiator for Dagster, and we operate as one cohesive design team across product and brand - this means you'll have influence over how things work and look across our users' entire end-to-end journey.
You'll work closely with engineers, product leaders, and a deeply collaborative team of design peers to set direction, raise the bar for execution, and ensure clarity and cohesion across surfaces. In addition to owning complex design work yourself, you'll manage and develop a small team of designers, providing creative leadership, coaching, and structured feedback to support their growth.
Designers at Dagster Labs are empowered to engage directly with our active open-source community (you can join our community Slack here to see it firsthand). We're a small, ambitious team with no shortage of challenging and impactful design problems. Your work will meaningfully influence the product, the brand, and the overall user experience.
This is a full-time position offering competitive salary, equity, and benefits. We are a distributed team with offices in San Francisco, New York, and Minneapolis. We're open to hiring fully remote candidates who are currently authorized to work within the United States. We offer flexible remote work options so you can choose the environment that makes you most productive-whether that's your home or a coworking space. Dagster Labs fosters a collaborative, remote-first culture, ensuring you have all the tools and support needed to thrive, no matter where you are.
