* Serves as a Helicopter Manager with an Exclusive Use contracted helicopter responding to wildland fires.
* Provides day-to-day fireline supervision of firefighters in initial and extended attack wildland fire line operations.
* Provides aerial and ground fire assessment, development of control strategy and tactics, and deployment and assignment of personnel and equipment.
* Deployment and assignment of personnel and equipment, communicating with fire dispatch and other resources, ordering of additional suppression resources.
* Works in conjunction with other resources assigned to the incident including aircraft and provides pilots, crews, and dispatchers with detailed instructions on incident objectives, situations, and tactics.
* Under the guidance of a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), participate in contracting officer's administrative representative (COAR).
* Monitors, verifies, and documents aircraft use, completes day flight invoices and prepares cost summaries on a daily or project basis.

Qualifications
Specialized Experience Requirements:
In order to be rated as qualified for this position, we must be able to determine that you meet the specialized experience requirement(s); please be sure to include this information in your resume. No assumptions will be made about your experience. To be creditable, this experience must have been equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade of the position to be filled.
To qualify for the GS-08 grade level, 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-07 is required. Examples of work experience include but are not limited to: Experience in leading and administering the implementation of strategies, tactics, and suppression methods using rotor wing aircraft; overseeing complex aircraft operations in fire and for resource management missions to include the use of the NWCG National Standards for Helicopter Operations and oversight of aircraft contracts, implementing current aviation safety practices and procedures along with the risk analysis process.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

1.) This position is a Primary Firefighter position and is subject to a maximum entry age (MEA). The MEA is the date immediately preceding your 37th birthday. If you are a preference eligible veteran, you may be eligible for this position after your 37th birthday. Physical Demands: Arduous exertion for protracted periods of time such as, but not limited to, extensive running, walking, climbing, kneeling, stooping, pulling hoses, jumping and twisting, prolonged standing, walking over uneven ground, and recurring bending, reaching, lifting and carrying of items weighing over 50 pounds and shared lifting and carrying of heavier items, and similar activities requiring at least average agility and dexterity.
Work Environment: Forest, range, and desert environments in steep terrain where surfaces may be extremely uneven, rocky, covered with thick tangled vegetation, smoky conditions, etc. Temperatures commonly exceed 100 degrees F and may fall below freezing. Risks include smoke inhalation, fire entrapment, snake or insect bites and stings, exposure to excessive machinery noise, and falling and rolling material. Employee must adjust and cope with exposure to weather elements, dust and smoke, poor bivouac and eating situations under an unpredictable set of circumstances. Firefighters may be required to live in backcountry camps for extended periods of time. Work may require travel by fixed-wing or rotor-wing aircraft.
This is a primary firefighter position under the special retirement provisions of 5 U.S.C. 8336(c) (CSRS) and 5 U.S.C. 8412(d) (FERS). The position is subject to maximum entry age (MEA) requirements. **Role Summary:**
The Zone Manager, Provider Privacy will provide operational oversight and leadership as well as day-to-day supervision of privacy compliance activities within assigned business zones, serving as the primary liaison between the Vice President of Privacy Analysts. This role is responsible for ensuring the consistent execution of privacy incident management, HIPAA compliance, and data protection processes across operational units. The Zone Manager will coordinate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Operations, and Security to support risk mitigation, training, and adherence to regulatory and contractual obligations.
This position requires a strong understanding of healthcare privacy regulations, exceptional organizational and analytical skills, and a commitment to fostering a culture of compliance and privacy excellence throughout the organization.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Supervise and mentor Privacy Analysts across assigned operational zones, ensuring accurate and timely handling of HIPAA incidents and privacy matters.
+ Review incident investigations, root cause analyses to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with regulatory standards.
+ Serve as an escalation point for complex privacy incidents or high-impact cases, coordinating with Legal and the Director of Compliance on next steps.
+ Monitor privacy incident trends across zones to identify systemic risks and recommend proactive mitigation measures.
+ Ensure consistent application of policies, processes, and reporting across the zone
+ Support the development and execution of regional or functional privacy audits in partnership with the Internal Audit and Compliance teams.
+ Collaborate with business units to identify and address privacy risks in daily operations, data handling, and third-party interactions.
+ Maintain oversight of data tracking and reporting within the privacy incident management system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
+ Assist in managing communication with customers, clinics, and, when appropriate, affected individuals and regulatory authorities.
+ Assist in implementing enterprise privacy and compliance policies within assigned zones.
+ Provide privacy-by-design and compliance-by-design guidance to operational teams.
+ Support the development and delivery of targeted privacy training programs, reinforcing compliance best practices.
+ Recommend enhancements to policies, procedures, and training based on observed trends and root cause analysis.
+ Partner closely with Operations, Customer Service, and Legal to maintain alignment on privacy and compliance initiatives.
+ Provide zone-level performance metrics and updates to the Director of Compliance for inclusion in enterprise-wide reporting.
+ Represent the Compliance team in cross-functional projects related to data protection, customer reporting, or business process improvements.
+ Travel for conferences and to meet with customers as needed, up to 30%.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
+ 6+ years of experience in healthcare compliance, privacy, or information governance.
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership, supervisory, or team management role.
+ Strong working knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and related state and federal privacy laws.
+ Demonstrated experience conducting or overseeing privacy incident investigations and root cause analyses.

The Personal Outcomes Manager assists the Residential Director in the operation of the adult Residential Services program which includes support of individuals in assisted living homes. The position has primary responsibility for: Ensuring that the department's provision of services comply with all applicable regulations, standards and internal procedures.
The position is also responsible for assisting the Residential Director with program planning and development, budget and expenditure monitoring, staff recruitment, training and supervision, individual intake process, implementation of Support Plans (SP's) and interagency coordination. In the absence of the Residential Director, the Personal Outcomes Manager may assume the functions of that position.
TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitors implementation of individuals' Support Plans (SP's).
Oversees Residential Site Supervisors (RSS') and Residential RN in monitoring individuals' wellness and medical care.
Assists in evaluating program services, designing and implementing program development objectives.
Conducts internal audits to ensure:
Compliance with Assisted Living Home Licensing requirements.
Proper supporting documentation compliance for Medicaid billing including proper ISP (Individual Support Plan) documentation and quality assurance.
Compliance with procedures for the documentation of client medical care and medication administration.
Ensure appropriate documentation of recipient personal expenditures such as cash logs and POs (Purchase Orders).
Monitors purchasing procedure for residences and maintains inventory records.
Inspects residential settings and assures necessary maintenance including cleanliness, utilities and security.
Inspects residential settings for compliance with licensing regulations, fire, employee and personal safety procedures.
Assists in coordinating program intake procedures and assure design and development of individualized services for individuals receiving support.
Assists in conducting regular staff meetings.
Assists in assuring coordination of residential services with other agency programs.
Collaborates with Residential Staffing Manager to meet department and agency objectives.
Provides backup support to Residential Site Supervisors, Residential Staffing Manager, or Director of Residential Services as needed or requested.
Oversees the training and management of the Residential Program Office Coordinator.
Participates in on-call rotation.
Attends trainings, in-services, conferences and staff meetings.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in Social or Behavioral Sciences, Education, Rehabilitation, Business/Health Administration or related field.
Three years management experience.
Three years supervisory experience in a residential program for individuals with developmental disabilities, preferred.
Two years' experience working with individuals experiencing developmental disabilities.
Must meet agency insurance criteria for operating agency and personal vehicles on agency business (21 y/o and licensed 3 years).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
