Compensation: Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. You will be paid an hourly rate of $18.51 per hour, including a commission plan. Employees are also eligible to earn bi-weekly and monthly commissions and other incentives based upon individual and store sales performance. You have a strong understanding of the day-to-day operations of a multi-family apartment community, including leasing, financial reporting, and resident services.

You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with residents, vendors, and team members professionally.

The Division of Adult Institutions is made up of two Divisions: Facility Operations and Facility Support. Facility Operations is comprised of four Regions: Region I, Region II, Region III, and Region IV. Facility Support includes Operations Support, Programs Support, and Policy and Standardization. The mission of Region I is to safely and securely house and process incoming incarcerated people by compiling and evaluating their criminal records, life histories, medical, dental, physiological, mental health histories, and social histories to determine their custody score, identify any specific placement needs, and assign them to one of the 34 state prisons.
The California Department of Corrections Rehabilitation (CDCR) Headquarters has implemented a new automated system to streamline the hiring process.
