Performs Network Security Scanners using tools like DoD’s Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) for vulnerability scanning. Reviews scan results to ensure that the applications being placed on the network adhere to the DoDI 8500.2 and the transformation to 8510.01 (RMF) guidance.

BS 12-15, MS 10-13. Phd 10+

Will consider: Edu/Exp: HS 16+ Years, BA/BA 10+ Years, or MA/MS 8+ Years

Required Experience:

  • Use of cyber tools (Splunk required, and others preferred) to identify anomalous behavior in scan logs and critical Malware issues to report regulatory cyber security compliance.
  • Development of compliance reports for network devices in multiple domains (N/S/J).
  • Automating network scans and response based on specified criteria (ticket, quarantine, etc). For example, using APIs and Splunk and Boolean logic to assess network security non-compliance and automate a response.
  • Requires IAT Level II DOD 8570 Baseline certifications.
  • Requires CSSP Analyst certification.
  • Required TS/SCI Clearance (Poly preferred)

Desired Experience:

  • Experience with Gabriel Nimbus or other Big Data Platform
  • CSSP Manager Certification
