What You'll Do (High-Level Focus)
As our Reconditioning Manager, you will:
OperationalLeadership
Own the full reconditioning process-from acquisition to frontline-using Rapid Recon
Hit cycle-time targets and ensure vehicles move through the system with urgency
Maintain manufacturer Certified Program standards across all reconditioned units
Collaborate closely with the Director of Used Cars, Sales Managers, and Service
Team & Process Management
Lead, coach, and develop recon technicians and detail team
Train staff on key recon skills (cleaning, buffing, PDR, undercoat, light bodywork)
Hold team members accountable for high-quality work and policy adherence
Quality & Accuracy
Inspect vehicles, review technician recommendations, and determine recon strategies
Ensure all RO documentation is accurate and supports clean certification and warranty tracking
Conduct monthly physical audits and maintain all documentation in vehicle jackets
Cross-Department Collaboration
Coordinate work between sales, service, parts, and outside vendors
Communicate constantly with multiple stores to ensure recon alignment
Manage sublet work, hold vendors accountable, and support photo/marketing steps

* Handle phone calls from customers in accordance with Ward's telephone etiquette and customer service standards. Assist service center office staff with customer service phone calls regarding scheduling appointment freight, tracing, customer problem resolution, etc.
* Support both Operations and Sales efforts within the service center as well as across service center lines.
* Control service center costs to keep them within plan, including risk minimization for the company in all areas such as claims and safety.
* Participate in monthly Business Development meeting with Sales Leader and other appropriate supervisory staff members in order to identify problems and / or progress with regard to achieving service center goals. GENERAL FUNCTION
The Production Supervisor evaluates work processes to determine strategies and programs which provide greater productivity and efficiency of company functions.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for guiding, directing and coaching warehouse employees to meet on time delivery standards with minimal errors. Provides work direction and leadership to warehouse employees within the guidelines of standard work rules and employment policies. As a Production Associate, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing operations by operating machinery, assembling ductwork components, and/or transporting materials within the facility. Ideal candidates will have experience in sheet metal fabrication or machine operation in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities, but not limited to:
-Operate metal cutting, bending, and forming machines
-Assemble sheet metal components according to specifications
-Move materials between production and warehouse areas
-Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures
-Use basic measuring tools like tape measures and apply basic math
-Maintain a clean and organized work environment
-Ensure consistent quality and production output

Minimum Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or GED
-Previous experience in sheet metal, manufacturing, or machine operation preferred
-Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs with assistance
-Reliable attendance and punctuality are a must
-Ability to read and interpret work instructions and safety guidelines
-Willingness to be trained on forklifts and lock-out/tag-out procedures
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
-Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, twist, turn and lift between 26-50 lbs throughout the shift
