Mattermost is seeking a result-driven and analytical Lead Product Security Engineer to help ensure the security of our product and services across the company. As leader of our Product Security team you will work closely with a globally distributed team to support in all the different aspects of the software development life cycle. You will be responsible for the implementation of additional application security tooling and/or processes across the company and coordinate with relevant stakeholders, gather requirements, and lead the implementation.

Responsibilities:Manage a globally distributed team of security engineers Ownership of vulnerability management and mitigation approaches Manage and lead security projects to increase security posture of products and company Support threat modeling of in-house developed software components Conduct application security reviews through manual code review or static/dynamic code analysis Architecture and review of security components Provide security training and outreach to internal development teams Develop security guidance documentation Support the development of our application security program Maintain and grow our bug bounty program

Required Background/Skills:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields, or significant professional application security experience5+ years of demonstrated experience in product security, security research and/or secure software development Familiarity with common security libraries, security controls, and common security flaws Experience with static/dynamic analysis, and common exploit tools and methods Experience in one or more programming languages, ideally Go or JavascriptComfortable with using GitExcellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrable teamwork skills and resourcefulness Linux experience

Preferred Background/Skills:Experience working in open source communities Experience with OWASP SAMM or other security assessment standards Certifications in the domain of penetration testing, or application security (e.g. OSCP, OSWE, GWAPT, …) Experience with Kubernetes / DockerExperience working in open source communities Participation in Bug Bounties, CTFs or similar activities

As a Lead Product Engineer you will be responsible for supporting the Xcelium logic simulator at key cadence customer to grow cadence business. Will have ultimate responsibility for one or more specific simulator components.

Supports the development of key simulator flows and methodologies to improve the Cadence Xcelium Logic Simulator, especially focused on the SystemVerilog language support, randomization and coverage. Helps develop strategy and technology roadmaps for product engineering for the Xcelium simulator and simulation related applications that drive the value of the simulator. Writes requirement specifications and reviews functional specifications to ensure relevant solutions are provided to customers. Helps develop and communicate strategy and technology roadmaps.
Qualification

+ The candidate should possess minimum BE/B.Tech engineering in CS or EE with at least 4 years or Masters in CS or EE with at least 2 years of industry experience in functional verification.

+ Experience with SystemVerilog and UVM or similar verification methodology is a strongly desired.

+ Experience with simulation-based verification techniques required.

+ Hands on experience using Functional simulator (Cadence Simulator preferred) is a must

+ Knowledge of Verification IP, and code & functional coverage technologies.

+ Hands on design experience using Verilog, VHDL is desireable.

+ Highly technical & hands on engineer with an ability to communicate knowledge well.

+ He/She must be willing to travel worldwide in order to work closely with customers in any part of the world.

+ Passionate about adopting and promoting new technologies and making customers successful.

+ Ability to build and deliver training content for rolling out new products/methodologies

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop websites and integrations that support business strategy and requirements, emphasizing quality, performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.

· Maintain an ongoing awareness of emerging developments and trends in technology.

· Aid in designing, planning, and executing future systems and decreasing technical debt in current systems.

· Coach new team members as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Minimum 5 years of Experience with Sitecore CMS implementation and development.

· Experienced with Sitecore 8 and above.

· 10+ total years of Experience in software design and implementation.

· 5+ years of Experience with object-oriented design and implementation with expert Knowledge of OO languages (C#), distributed systems, and web services.

· Minimum 8 years of C# and MS SQL Server (T-SQL)

· Minimum 5 years developing with .NET MVC, JSON, and jQuery/JavaScript

· Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum

· Experience using Sitecore personalization features.

· Experience with source control systems like TFS and GIT.

· Experience with front-end web technologies.

· Experience with CI/CD Pipeline.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Knowledge of design patterns and how to apply them.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

· Ability to communicate design rationale and build consensus.

· Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to develop new approaches to complex design problems.

· Must be organized, have an eye for detail, and be able to put ideas into a tangible form.
