We are looking for a security leader responsible for building and leading our offensive security program help protect Alteryx products, customers, product, data, and the enterprise. You will be responsible for initially building a program, developing an operating model and strategy, and ultimately hiring and managing a team of security engineers and third-party vendors conducting a wide variety of offensive security related assessments. Offensive security at Alteryx focuses on adversary emulation, insider threat simulation, and collaborative testing with the security operations team. The team will be responsible for the continuous testing against the environment. The role will combine strategic planning and the ability to adapt to the improvements in the maturity of the enterprise security posture due to the constant evolving of adversaries and threats against the organization.
Responsibilities
Lead the strategic direction of the offensive security team with an initial focus on program development and a continuous expansion of offerings to help mature the security posture of the enterprise Recruit, manage, and develop a team of highly skilled offensive security engineers capable of performing a wide variety of assessments to coincide with the maturing of the organization's security posture Continually evolve the offensive security program to help drive security initiatives across peripheral services and the organization as a whole Drive program progress by clearing blockers and escalating when needed while holding team accountable to key metrics and objectives Track deliverables and ensure delivery is of high-impact and quality to help speed up mitigation and/or resolution of identified issues Manage and source third-party vendors when needed Lead cross functional efforts to test the security posture of our products, test internal security processes, test and strengthen existing detective or preventative controls, and support the development and prioritization of new detective and preventative controls to continuously improve the security posture of the overarching security program Support the development of best practices, product security strategy, and capabilities to provide supporting services for all programs that enable a secure go-to-market motion

Compensation:Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Irvine is $128,700 - $218,800. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus and stock grants.

The Systems Security Engineer Lead is part of the security integrations & Analytics team in the Experian GSO. This role will serve as an engineering lead responsible for content development for the SIEM & UEBA systems mentoring junior content developers. Specific focus will be directed to understanding various vendor feeds and developing the capability of our analytics tools to detect anomalous, suspicious, or malicious behaviors. An ideal candidate will have extensive information security experience particularly in incident response and able to apply that knowledge to drive future content to reduce risk. The Systems Security Engineer Lead will work closely with the various internal teams, including but not limited to: cyber threat intelligence analysts, SOC analysts, incident management, server and network administrators, security tool administrators, and business unit customers.
Major Responsibilities include:

· Understand data feeds of various security tools and logs that feed the SIEM & UEBA technologies. Ability to identify capabilities and quality of these feeds and recommend improvements.

· Ability to craft new content use cases based on: threat intelligence, analyst feedback, available log data, and previous incidents.

· Perform day to day activities of the content life cycle, including creating new use cases, testing content; tuning, and removing content; and maintain associated documentation.

· Remediate vulnerabilities in the different application environments

· Work with the other security teams and product SMEs to identify gaps within the existing analytical capability.

· Development of parsers/field extractions to facilitate reliable content development
