We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer in Test to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure application quality. The Lead Automation Engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. The work can span from automating Smart Contract tests to our front-end portal to creating full end to end performance tests.

This role plays an important part in our company's application development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for developing automated tests in Python, bash, and leveraging tooling to ensure application quality.

As a Software Engineer in Test, you will: Design, develop and execute automation suite using python, go and bash Work with application and business teams to understand the end to end flow and data needed to test the application Identify, record, thoroughly document and track bugs adding to our automation suite Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

We're looking for: 3 years+ experience in an engineering role (software, QA, Automation, ..) Solid Knowledge of Python OR Java (there will be coding interviews) Experience with one or more performance testing tools (Gatling, NewRelic, AppDynamics) Experience with one or more Automation tools (Cypress, Selenium, ..) Possess a working understanding of APIsKnowledge of working with CI/CD pipelines and jobs Experience testing Financial instruments (Bond Trading, Equity Swaps,..) Experience creating Test Plans and Test CasesBS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have: Knowledge of blockchain Experience with Solidity and Truffle is a huge plus Knowledge of api testing tools Knowledge of deploying applications to cloud (AWS preferred) Experience using DockerFamiliarity NodeJS/npm

The Tech Platform QE team is responsible for feature validation and building the
automation framework related to back-end features including background job and email
processing, microservices, and security-related features. We also work closely with Ops
team to do infrastructure-level validation.
Responsibilities:Lead and coordinate testing projects in a cross-team environment.Develop and execute testing plan and strategies for new feature development.Validate and automate Ruby on Rails application, focusing on back-end features such as background job and email processing, microservices, SSO, security, database migrations, etc.Design, build and improve testing frameworks.Improve continuous integration processes with Jenkins, Groovy, Bash and Capistrano.Work closely with the development team to support unit and integration tests.Create/evaluate test tools to improve the testing process and product quality.
Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science.5-10 years of relevant experience.Experience in building test frameworks and automation tools.Demonstrable experience in writing clean code quickly in languages like Java, Python, Ruby, etc.Experience with REST API web services with JSON and XML payloads.Experience working with cloud platform like AWS and Azure is preferred Experience with messaging queue like kafka or redis is preferred Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins is preferred Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or micro-service is preferred
