About this role

The IT System & Regulatory Compliance Lead will work directly with IT Leadership and their teams, IT Quality and Internal Audit to establish, monitor and ensure a robust compliance program that employs industry-proven best practices for software quality / validation while exploring new, less established methods for delivering high quality technical solutions without compromising budgets and schedules. In collaboration with IT Quality, this role will work to optimize SDLC procedures, evaluate and optimize the IT deviations, corrective, and preventive actions (CAPAs) process and performance. A key component of this role is to drive a culture of compliance while drawing upon experience to ensure an aligned and risk-based approach to IT quality and compliance. This role may establish a broader team under them as the roadmap and design is defined.

What you'll do

Maintain the SDLC to reflect current and compliant GxP processes (SOPs), with special emphasis on Part 11-compliant electronic records and data integrity, while providing true scalability in software development.

Develop and deliver internal training on deviations, investigations, and documenting software validation, responding to team requests for professional development.

Design and implement key performance indicators (KPI's) to monitor and assure compliance with Biogen policies and regulatory agencies. Institute routine Quality Management Reviews through individual operating reviews and IT Functional Reviews.

Ensure monitoring and health of all IT controls (e.g, Sox controls, documentation control, change control, risk management, non-conformance and CAPA management, 3rd party management) in compliance to relevant standards

Responsible for leading, coordinating, verifying, and tracking of compliance / regulatory remediation activities for IT

Establish, facilitate, and lead an IT Compliance Champion Network with representatives from each relevant function within IT.

Work with MSP/Vendors to make sure they are adhering to Biogen's standards. Perform periodic checks and drive improvement activities.

In collaboration with IT Quality and internal audit - define risk-based compliance approach for inhouse, hosted, SAAS and cloud-based systems to meet regulatory compliance and corporate business requirements; liaise with Quality to drive consistency and standardization.

Perform mock checks to determine IT compliance readiness.

**Summary**

Top level technical expert in applications systems analysis and programming. This includes transformation of complex ERP database tables into higher level data sets suitable for use by business analysts. The position is also responsible for technical setup and maintenance of Perdue AgriBusiness' ERP and scaling systems as well as creation and support of interfaces and custom applications/reports. Acts independently under general direction. Provides technical leadership on complex projects. May act as expert in business or functional area. Formulates and defines system scope and objectives. VB.NET (or similar languages) and strong SQL knowledge are required.
